I have some lion king merchandise but my most prized possession of the merchandise is the Lion King Soundtrack and cd collection. I have 12 lion king soundtracks in 12 languages with the 13th on the way. English, French, Italian, German, EU Spanish, Dutch, Greek, Swedish, Croatian, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian and soon EU Portuguese. More than any other Disney soundtrack I have. I even have the trilogy in the 5 languages I speak (English, French, Italian, German and EU Spanish).
Alice Kingsley hi there, where did you get the German version? Is the art cover just in German or is the music sung in German too? I only have 5 soundtracks all English from the movies and broadway.
That's a nice collection you've held onto. I had loads of stuff as a kid when the original film was out but I ended up getting rid of it as I got older. Kind of wish I kept it! I'm just down to the sticker album (incomplete like yours!), a few toys I kept and the movie and soundtracks. I live in London so have been fortunate to see the musical there and have the mug too. Amazing experience.
Rosemary Park it's easily attainable now thanks to the internet and eBay but I do wish I had kept more things as I really love the film. I kept my sega game but recently downloaded the lion king game on the nintendo switch to play on the go. Absolutely love it! ❤️🦁
Rosemary Park oh yes everyone should own the movie, not just for the animation but the story and music is just sensational. Same in the live action version too. The game is also worth having as well as they have brought into on the modern PS4 and switch now.
Here in Germany Disney does not include a digital copy code. But you have not to buy a code, you just need to buy it on itunes. I am collecting lion king too, but you have more dvds, blurays as I have. I can realy recommend the „Sing Along“ CD, because its the only one that includes the ORIGINAL instrumental versions of the songs. You have a very nice collection. Kind regards from Germany.

For a lot of people, it's a problem that on iTunes you cannot purchase Disney movies which are currently "on moratorium" (or "vaulted"). The only way to get those movies on iTunes during that period (until they get re-released again and are not in the vault anymore) is to buy a digital code from a third-party seller. However, I cannot justify paying 40-45 US dollars for a digital copy only. At least that is what happens in the US market. I don't know about Europe.
Jabari Lion with the music I could only find the full score of the entire film online on TH-cam and then converted it to MP3 as it hasn't been released, well where I am anyway. Overall I have 5 soundtracks as well as the DVD and bluray - original soundtrack, score, broadway musical, rhythm of the Pride lands and now the 2019 remake. Stunning music.

Music in the background is all written, recorded and produced by me: Beginning - "The One" 6:00 - "Sunk In a Desert" (co-written with Alex Vitkovskiy) 28:40 - "Spring of my Life" 33:10 - "The One" (again and 'till the end of the video) I have only used my instrumentals as background music for the videos but I'm planning to eventually release some of them as an EP.

I had the cd soundtrack, but it got badly scratched. I either sold it to a used bookstore or threw it away in trash.

I've forgotten how brilliant the movie and music was. I never owned the movie until the recent Signature collection dvd.
