    This is for kiddos who are in HS:
    If your school-area-state provides it, take Dual Enrollment (or college classes in highschool), yes it's going to be hard, but you get free college credits, and that can cut off tuition. Speaking as someone who took AP and DE at one point.
    Look for apps that sell clothes cheap (of course look at reviews)
    If you really like going out to eat, check and see if the places you like going out to have an app or something similar to accumulate points towards rewards, discounts, etc.

    Alwaysss make your own coffee. You can make a batch the day before if you're going to be in a rush. Also, I do this with overnight oats.

      if you still find yourself broke, and busy in college you should try the mobile app PICKL to make some quick cash while grocery shopping. The app pays people $5 to take pictures of grocery products.

    This video really helped me. I'm going to collage next year ad I've been terrified of Collage since my friend went and told me she forgot to eat for like three days and was in so much pain that she got up at three am and made fish fingers. She was on a meal plan and used all her credit up so quickly.

      Is it possible to get a apartment as a freshman in college?

    • @beko____
      @beko____ 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kozychaos depends what college you go to.
      At most schools yes. This year with the pandemic, I’d say at almost all schools- you prolly could- without having the actual Figures ofc

    Some books are online and you can get discounts if you just pay for the short access to the book so I think I got access for the semester.

    Puh, doesn't get more expensive than studying in NY, maybe London might be worse. But I feel you, it's a struggle.. I just went back for an Undergrad since Covid hasn't been easy on graduates, and I feel it :o

    Another (small) tip to get the books cheaper is to buy them (maybe even second hand, if you don't need the newest edition) together with one or more people/friends from the same class and to digitize it. If your uni has a dedicated book scanner (and it should, it's a uni) that process is quicker and usually roughly takes an hour depending on the page count. Then every person who paid for it gets a digital edition and one person keeps the book. Depending on state laws that might be not legal, but usually only the distribution is illegal, so don't upload it somewhere and don't send it around.
    Even better: Don't buy the book at all, lend it from your university library and then do exactly that with it.
    Before I knew about our book scanner I also digitized a book with my Adobe Scan Phone App, but that takes a lot longer. The uni book scanner version also allows to search the document with ctr+f.
    Another advantage: Once you move, you don't dislocate any shoulders on your book bags.

    Hi! Are internships paid or unpaid? I know some people have internships but don’t get paid but then some people do? Is there a reason why some internships you can earn money and some you don’t?

    • @klassycountryk
      @klassycountryk 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      It depends on your field and what you do on the job. All my internships were paid but I also worked as a " low-skilled" engineer. On the flip side, I have friends who has teacher internships but wasn't paid because it was part of their degree plan
