We eat there every time we visit. Usually eat breakfast, extraordinary ham and eggs. Try the prime rib French dip , unlike your experience with the prime rib the meat is cut ultra thin with horseradish and onions with au jou on the side. The meat is on a French roll and served medium rare.
I have to admit we never venture from the strip. Your review is as always well presented and fair. You have a talent that brings us to the table with you. Shin, you have mastered your “hobby”! You are part of our Saturday routine. Stay hungry!

I haven't been to Magnolia's Veranda for a couple of years now since last time I went I was waiting for my dad to get out of jury duty. Food wasn't too bad and I enjoyed their breakfast. Need to come back again one day.

Nothing was particularly bad except the pineapple on the cheesecake. Everything else was decent at worst I'd say. I had high hopes for the prime rib, but the one I had at Siegels recently blew me away so my expectations were up there. But I did enjoy this place. But they are all very pricey. My rule of thumb is if you want your prime rib medium, order it medium-rare. Much more flavorful. I order rare to get medium-rare. A good creamy horseradish sauce and au jus can make up for a variety of prime rib sins.

I was there this past Thursday around 9pm. It could be a lot better if I go at 4pm. I don't get off work until about 6 or 7 though typically so it would have to be a weekend which I imagine would have crazy lines lol. But I did enjoy my time here. If I lived closer to downtown, I'd go back often just for a $6 bowl of gumbo and hang out. Thanks for watching!

I like the video. I myself have never had any luck eating here 0-3. But it is a pretty good value and an easy access late night spot. I do have a question though. Do you eat your eggs like that at home? I mean 1 egg 1 bite, or is that just to move it along because it's a fried egg? Most food bloggers do that and I've always been curious. Maybe I eat my eggs weird 😂😂

Hey shin, I just found your channel and I'm really enjoying it but I need to be critical of something you keep saying when you introduce a new menu item "Allright " you say this this so often that it's getting distracting. You can say a ton of info about each food but fallback to the same "Allright saying" mix it up

I like the video. I myself have never had any luck eating here 0-3. But it is a pretty good value and an easy access late night spot. I do have a question though. Do you eat your eggs like that at home? I mean 1 egg 1 bite, or is that just to move it along because it's a fried egg? Most food bloggers do that and I've always been curious. Maybe I eat my eggs weird 😂😂

VWS: Not a bad price. Gumbo roux was underdone and too blonde, you have to get down to New Orleans and do a food tour. I think it would be incredible.

@VegaswithShin New Orleans is a better food destination than Vegas and pricing (especially local finds) is not a rip off. Seafood is superior (location) and the diversity is off the chain. Make a special trip

Shin, have you recently had your cholesterol levels checked? I love all the foods you consume and can almost receive the same gratification as you while watching ( I know, sounds kinky). I mention this because in my early 40's I had a rather serious heart attack because of my diet, which happens more than most people are aware. Selfishly, I would love for you to grow to a ripe old age.

Hey shin, I just found your channel and I'm really enjoying it but I need to be critical of something you keep saying when you introduce a new menu item "Allright " you say this this so often that it's getting distracting. You can say a ton of info about each food but fallback to the same "Allright saying" mix it up
