I’m going to pick up my supplies on Tuesday for my 1st monkey. I will have your video going and taking it step by step. Thank you for such a wonderful video.
Thanks for your comment! I've been thinking of making the clothing patterns available but I didn't know if there would be any interest, so until now I hadn't pursued the idea. Yours is the second inquiry I've received and so I'm looking at options for hosting the digital files for purchase and download. I also need to figure out how best to write instruction sheets for the patterns. Stay tuned!
I would like to have the pattern for the pilot doll as my grandson is a pilot, it would be perfect for their baby boy. Please, can you post where to get it?
They will love it! My email address is on my channel's "About" page. Send me a message so I can reach you, and I will send you the patterns directly. 😊
I haven't yet tried to make sock monkey babies. The closest I've come so far is that one Christmas I made a Santa-and-elf sock monkey pair. I made the elf from size Small socks, which made him about two-thirds the height of the Santa monkey. Compared to a monkey made from size Large socks (the size I normally use), he looks about the size of a pre-teen child. Sadly, it appears that Fox River has since discontinued their size Small red heel socks, and they now offer only Medium and Large. 😢 There is still some new stock of size Small being sold by a couple of vendors on eBay, and you might find the occasional pair elsewhere. If you're looking for an "infant-sized" sock monkey to go with a regular sock monkey, what I would suggest (at least until I figure out how to make them!) is to look online for mini sock monkey keychains. These mini sock monkeys are typically about 4 to 6 inches (10-15 cm) tall, and they would be the right scale for a sock monkey baby. I used one of these years ago when I made a sock monkey in pajamas that was holding his own sock monkey. You can remove the metal keychain part either by using an X-Acto knife or a seam ripper to cut the stitches that attach it to the monkey, or by using some wire cutters to cut the very last link of the chain. I hope that's helpful! I'll have to give some thought to making baby sock monkeys from regular-size monkey socks. 🤔
Thanks for asking! I've been thinking about making them available, but so far there doesn't seem to be much interest. Do you have any suggestions as to where I should post them for purchase? Etsy, perhaps?
This is fantastic!
Wow your ideas for sock monkeys are so creative 😁
Thanks! And thanks for subscribing! The next video will be up around the end of December. 🙂

Yay! You are most welcome, and I'm glad it was helpful. Have fun! I'd love to see how it turns out.

Do you know how to make sock monkey (babies)?
