The shoes that seem a bit small on regular size Barbies, fit better on petite dolls. The ones that seem large, fit better on tall/curvy dolls.
Oh BRILLIANT!! I just saw 50 pairs for $15 or something on Amazon, and was dithering about buying them because I couldn't be sure of the quality. Thanks so much for doing this. PS I love those paint pens!!
Great find! A few of those remind me of MH & EAH shoes. On the wing shoes I think the heel is an arrow like Cupid’s from EAH.

Those lacy boot looking ones probably fit the old school pointy toed dolls best. For the price you got a really nice selection. And it looks like all pairs, not any random ones.

I really wish there were more modest shoes for Barbie! I'm a senior woman, and my dolls onto wear mini dresses or ridiculously high heels!

I'm noticing a patern. The ones that didn't fit well were designed for the ORIGIONAL style of Barbie foot. The kind from before they changed the proportions of her body.
I was just looking for boots yesterday. The curvy dolls have a bigger foot. I wish they would make the size more realistic. Then we could use other doll lines fashions.
Just found your videos (2022) may I make a suggestion for 2023, DON’T add the backup music, totally not needed, but very irritating……cute ideas for the shoes

Have you ever tried the faux leather finish paint? I was thinking about trying that to see if it would make the shoes less plastic looking. Your's were so cute- I loved the red with the silver detail and rhinestones ❤️ They were all really cute 🩷

If you have vintage (60's/70's) or vintage repro Barbies, most of these shoes will not fit. Etsy does have shoes that fit these dolls but it's still trial and error. Don't buy a lot if you haven't sized them first.
I didn’t like the red boot like shoe until you just showed it on here. It’s actually not boots. It’s just a high-heeled fancy shoes that goes a little up on the leg. I bought these packages a lot and there’s a lot that don’t fit but it’s still worth the price.

Question... Do you think you can use regular cheap paints and seal it with a clear spray paint or clear nail polish? I love what you did however I don't have alot of nail polishes.
You can give it a try. Maybe use sandpaper to rough up the plastic before you paint.
@@PoppySeedMini I definitely use nail polish on plastic. Paint doesn't stick at all. (I know because I'm turning some doughnut shaped beads into doughnuts for Barbie and and I'm using nail polish since paint doesn't adhere to the plastic bead)
How long does the polish last?
Would the nail drill work well to sand down the shoes?
Do you know if Amazon has shoe packs for tall and curvy Barbies?
I think they all have the same size foot. It really depends on if they have flat feet, heels or MTM feet.

She the regular made to move body. I don’t have a tall body to compare with or I would check. I don’t think they changed the feet sizes but I could be wrong.
