even as a kid in everybody hates chris, Tyler always had some GREAT facial expressions! im so happy for this cast because its filled with a lot of great talent who had success before but maybe petered out and I love that they're back in the spotlight in a way that they deserve and in a show that they can be so proud of.
Yes, Tyler James Williams was one of the reasons I watched Everybody Hates Chris. As a child, he impressed me with his role. He was in every scene. That was a lot of lines for a little kid to remember. All the cast have gone on and still acting or in the entertainment arena with the exception of the actor who played Greg. I've not seen him in anything as an adult. Nor have I seen adult Tonya (sister) either. TJW is a very good performance actor. ❤
Shocked everyone is commmenting on his facial expressions. He always did them when his mom Rochelle yelled “Chris” and he knew he was going to get in trouble, or when someone said something weird. He’s the King of facial expressions and he’s been the king ever since he was little lol
Exactly I grew up watching him on Everybody Hates Chris. I know every episode like the back of my head. I'm glad to see he grew up and became such a successful and talented actor.
I love how enamored Whoopi seems with Tyler during this interview and I love him sharing how she impacted him and his career. He seems like such an insightful person and seeing his love for his craft is beautiful to watch.
@@smileearthlings.829 Many people who come on the show don't greet the co-hosts this way. I have seen many (big names) who just wave at the audience before sitting down. I think it's rude.
I love when people come on the show and pay homage to Whoopi as the comedic legend that she is because she truly deserves it. She’s talked about feeling unseen professionally at one point so I’m sure it warms her heart to hear that she’s influenced so many talented individuals.
This guy has a level of STRONG intuitiveness that's gonna take him further and further. He's actually STUDYING HIS CRAFT WHILE DOING IT!!! He is not taking this for granted (this was my life since 12, he easily could being so young). He is pulling from and learning from his experiences! Mary J. Blige got that same blessed opportunity and made it so FAR. She got to clearly improve everything about her artistry right before our eyes while we supported her and wanted to WATCH this growth. And it began to markedly improve when she began to take it seriously and study it. Sure, there are plenty of younger child actors being granted that same opportunity: to be PAID WHILE LEARNING. But you can really tell that this one here is not being spoiled by or taking this life he is in for granted AT ALL. He is absorbing and learning on a level that will have him Tyler Perry-ing it in NO TIME FLAT. I'm very impressed and wish him well!
I could not stop smiling and giggling with joy watching this interview. It's not everyday, especially these days that we get to see an authentic interview with purely warm and infectious energy. Tyler James Williams and the cast and crew of Abbott Elementary are all extraordinarily brilliant.
That part where young Tyler James Williams did an appearance on SNL reminded me so much of Chris and how he use to do a similar look and reaction sometimes on Everybody Hates Chris 😂😂😂😂
@@moniquewrites9046 completely forgot about Will being from Philly or the show being based there, that's definitely not the reason he gives Will vibes.
