Example of Humility. * Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross was about to be finished. - The work of rescuing mankind. * Jesus fulfills and is the fulfillment of the Scripture. - Psalm 22:15~18. - Psalm 69:21. - God is true to His Word. - John 19:29. ‘Hyssop branch’ a reminder of God’s rescue mission during Passover. - V28. Jesus declares His humanity. • Jesus felt hunger, thirst, exhaustion needing rest, pain ang hurt when whipped, crowned with thorns, 1. Jesus being fully human fully redeems us. 2. Jesus being fully human fully represents us. - He is the perfect sacrifice to redeem us. 3. Jesus fully human fully relates to us. - Hebrews 4:15. - He identifies with us. - He understands our weakness, struggles and brokenness. 4.
