I’m getting a kitten in 2 weeks! He’s a male and I’ve decided on naming him Sage! He’s a grey fluffy cat with white in the middle and some white spots on his grey fur!
My two cats I rescued, one was rescued at 10-12 weeks I don’t remember. The other we rescued at 4-5 weeks. We didn’t see the mama cat and it was just her are her brother. We kept her and named her Mochi. And her brother is with my moms friend.

I had a tabby named Anthony Rowley, after a disobedient frog in a song; ".... for whether his mother would let him or no, 'Hi-ho! Said Anthony Rowley.'" So, he was usually called Anthony, or "Little A," "Amos," "Sgt Murphey," due to all his stripes, "Gunny" for the same reason, "Moose," due to the way he walked, "Aimless" because of his wandering ways, and "Gib," a traditional British cat name.

Bobo kind of grew out of it, however, when he was causing issues with anything he couldn’t have, I would divert his attention to a toy he could play with. Usually if he is playing with cords it means he’s bored and just needs attention elsewhere :)) hope this helps!!
Watching this again, after somebody liked my comment …Did you know that if you have a ginger cat it is much more likely to be a male, at a ratio of 3 to 1 …? I think it is similar for Calicos too. Hope Boleyn is doing well & has made good friends with your older cat.
Adoption fees are different everywhere- the humane society we went to charged $90ish (which is a lot cheaper than most other places here). However keep in mind there are going to be other expenses and everything throughout kitties’ lives that will add up :))
New years eve I rushed my 15 year old cat to the vet jan 13th put her down.... then two other deaths hit one jan 22 my dad's step mom jan 31 2023 wasn't a good start but finely got my kittens girls there 9 weeks old

we rescued Bolin so we are not entirely sure, however, he certainly is some orange tabby mix! We are thinking he might be part Maine Coon, but are not 100% sure! good luck in your adoption process!💕

With calicos is more likely they will be female . Very rare to find a male calico, but do they exist.
all calicos are female due to the y chromosome never carting the gene
