I think one fact is often overlooked from Ahsan/Setiawan pair, that Ahsan is not only there to smash, but he also got the wrist for some magical shots just like Setiawan.
And Setiawan is also reliable on back court. He does not have strong smash but the placement of his smash is unpredictable. Therefore, they can change their position any day any time and that makes their game more unpredictable.
Ahsan has great reading skills at the front too if you pay attention to this highlight.
Kombinasi yg sangat² sempurna the daddies. Ahsan punya smash gak ada obat. Hendra wirst tangan memang gile². Semoga sentiasa sihat the daddies. One of the my fav pair ❤❤❤ send love from malaysia
I'm totally forgot that young Ahsan and Hendra has so powerfull smash. But even tho today they can't do the same level of the smash anymore, they still compete at the highest level. I'm lucky enough to see them play since Hendra paired with Kido and then with Ahsan.

Karena mereka main cerdas ,, Akhsan meski smashnya kenceng tp gak main asal gebuk terus... jd bisa jaga stamina dan konsisten terus.. hendra pemain ganda putra paling kalem paling cool tp mematikan.. bola kayak dibikin punya mata ama Hendra... Bisa lari ke posisi lapangan yg kosong.. kebanyakan lawan daddies pasti dibikin "ngepel lantai" sama pukulan ajaib dr mereka terutama Hendra Setiawan...
Sudah gak bisa meminta apa² lagi dr mereka... Tinggal menikmati masa² terakhir mereka sebelum bener² gantung raket...
