- Hi everyone, I'm Rose from Uganda. I live in the countryside of Zhejiang, China, with my Chinese husband(Wu Jianyun) and our son (Wu Zi An/Anzai), and daughter (Wu Zi Yue).

Chinese culture is all about the mom healing after birth. She is waited on for a month and the father takes complete care of the baby while mom rests. They’ve understood this way longer than anyone else
Traditionally in western Kenya, you gave birth and stayed with your mom in law to take care of you for three months.only nursing the baby.but modern times have turned the family life upside down

@Sharonclarke537 This the only decent caring comment I have seen that cares and means it to Rose the others are fake caring nice to her when pregnant but when she had her baby girl it about what is on her head, why she wears the same jacket and clothes look at rose you can tell shr is clean she will shower and people will not eat to much chicken or you get diabetes from eating sugar A woman she is Chinese called mistook putting rose down she is comparing another African woman who married to a Chinese man she is better than Rose and this mistook does not know this other African lady nor does she knows Rose the way she belittles Rose is wrong and she gets away with it. The fact she us Chinese and Wu is chinse to have her put his wife down how fo you think he would feel?

In the Indian community we also take footprints and handprints with the baby's name right on top. Its a ceremony where family is invited and the name is finally shared ❤

Wu Yue Yue is the baby’s name but you are right Wi Jianyun does look more relaxed now that Rose is getting better. He really loves his wife and kids.

You can add ginger on the post pregnancy dishes. This helps in the cures the wound and makes breast milk. Other baby's footprint is made from molding.
