I just learned about this particular style of African threading yesterday and I cannot wait to try it. Thank you for the tutorial and the close-up of your ends and how you tie it off. Much appreciated 💕

It’s so cute isn’t it?. I still need to master tying the ends as some of mine do come undone. Been meaning to ask my mum but keep forgetting 😲. Her knots never come undone. Will have to ask her today

@LimitlessBloom Super cute!!! I'm literally going to try today...wish me luck Lol. When I watched my first video, I had the thought to use 100% pure silk thread. I know how amazing and regenerative silk can be for the hair (and skin) and figured it would be the best material for threading. I'm sure silk thread is more expensive but only the best for my hair Lol. But I also do not wear wigs or weaves, and don't even go to the salon since my amazing hairdresser moved states away. So I care for hair myself and think I can splurge on silk thread 😁 I will let you know how it turns out. Thank you again for sharing and replying 💖

This is super cute! I also prefer the pearls! Very regal.

You can use children poppy balls. I use black and clear ones pretty cool

Westafricanbaby has many TH-cam videos of similar African threading styles (but more intricate) going back a few years. How come you've never seen them????

Where did I mention that I’d never seen them? I grew up wearing threading styles. It’s all my mum knew and she still wears them till this day .

@@LimitlessBloom Not talking about threaded styles generally. You said "putting them in as a style to wear out" was inspired by "yellowsisi" and showed pics of some fairly basic styles. I'm just pointing out that WestAfricanBaby and others on TH-cam have been posting beautiful "threaded styles to wear out" on TH-cam for years. It's not a new thing pioneered by YellowSisi.

@@nardagraham1002 ok I do get what you’re saying but this particular style and video was inspired by yellowsisi and as a creator, I will always give credit to where my ideas originated from. Nowhere did I say she was a pioneer of African threaded styles and neither is WestAfricanBaby. Thank you for watching ☺️

Can’t find the store or the link for the pearls. How big are they?

How long does this last for its Beautiful

It can last depending on how well you look after it. I kept this for a week but I did another one before I had baby and kept it for 6weeks without the beads. Thank you 😊
