I miss this world in which I talked to much more persons than I ever did in real life, where I had friends, I remember you, my first friend ever, a Swordman, just like me when my username was "Funky-something" on a french Private server, we used to train sometimes together sometimes alone and we would meet each other every now and then in Old Morroc's PVP Arena to see how much we both improved and it lasted until we both reached Knight and Crusader lvl 99, rebirth didn't exist back then, I even met a girl I dated for 8 years from my 12 to 20 years old. We used to spend a lot of time together chilling in Prontera, training against FUR SEALS and spending some alone time at the entrance of Abyss Lake, got married in Prontera's church, all our friends and guildmates attended, spent our honeymoon in Jawaii. I kept playing from 2002 to 2020 on different Pservers but never found you guys elsewhere, you probably already had stopped playing. I wish I could fly back in time to live all these things again and tell you guys how I wish we would have kept in touch and how badly I have missed you all these years. I still miss you indeed.

Too real man. I remember every day being excited to log in. No guides no bullshit. Just learning by playing and interacting with everyone. Wish I would have kept in touch with more of the people I played with. Hindsight is 20/20. Private Servers Euphro and NamelessRO. Miss those times dearly.

RO holds my personal rank1 for having the best MMO music, which of course, is biased towards my personal nostalgia, having played it almost from the beginning, until 2007, -when it turned into utter garbage.- However, RO also holds the rank for the WORST BGM I've ever heard in a MMO; THIS track, right here. Now, some may like it, but to be, it just... had no sense of direction? Was it trying to be sweet? With that depressing tremolo string? Was it trying to be depressing, with that "cheerful" Waltz?. Ugh. Hours of Bebe/Savages.
Haha I partially agree with you, since I didn't understand the composition of this piece until I tried to play it in my piano. At the start it sounds a little sad BUT as you say, cheerful with that pizzicatto waltz. Suddenly tension with that C dim or something at 0:10 . After this tension, totally depressing-nostalgic Cinema Paradiso-like melody and chords. Then it jumps to the correlative major chord bringing some feeling of hope I guess, and ending with a supsense in major chords (no more totally sad minor chords, but mellancholy). Another thing that makes this theme a little bit rare is that bass is almost playing 5ths and 3ds instead of root notes, bringing some kind of suspense and floating feeling all the time.
@@supernoobgamesOK Not sure why YT doesn't always notify me of replies to comments, however, I was giving the RO playlist another listen while I work and tabbed to this window in less than 2 seconds to pause/skip track as it got to this one, but I scrolled down, not sure if I commented my mild disdain for this track earlier or not, seeing that I did AND got a response as well! You're probably right. A different choice of instruments would probably have worked wonders for this one, but it really strikes me as odd as all of _'SoundTeMP'_ stuff always really impressed me, as well pleases my ear, except for *this* one, particular track, for whatever reason. •́⩊•̀
I love that. all my memories to this map was being butchered by one of those evil plants that attack you from a distance. The music along with it made it more amusing.
@@Rosie-u3e Ah yes, the good ol' Mandragora. Those could be quite brutal, to any unsuspecting low-level passing by. Especially those, that would've spawned behind objects of the map, from you current viewing-angle and get you by complete surprise. ꏿ‸ꏿ I mostly associate this with Savages and Bebe Savages, maybe some Willows too~
