After today's games this is who is eliminated Kansas State 7-3 (lost to Arizona State who almost lost to Texas State) Washington State 8-2 (with a loss to a 5-6 New Mexico) Louisville 6-4 (bad loss to at the time 2 win stanford will do that) Mizzou 7-3 (While they are good losses it is just too much to over coming. Lost to South Car. LSU 6-4 (3 losses in a row and they were not close at all and one was to a 5-5 Florida) Ragin Cajuns (following their loss to South Alabama) 8-2 Teams that are hurting after this week Clemson (due to the Louisville loss) 8-2 Tennessee 8-2 (Good Georgia showed up) BYU 9-1 (bad loss against a 3 now 4 win Kansas) Oregon (while they did win it was by the skin of their teeth against a 5-5 Wisconsin) One scenario that could play out now is this Miami loses a game (which this could easily happen) Then Clemson and SMU play with Clemson winning but with Louisville being a 4 loss team that smoked you that is not good and gets worse if the number drops to 5 losses While that is happening Army wins out with a big win against the Fighting Irish (that would probably eliminate them) and oh yeah Boise State wins out as well. What you may have is that the ACC is left out (this is very unlikely but would be funny)
Couldn’t agree more. Super excited for that Army vs ND game, not expecting much from it but a win for Army could make things really interesting. Still think the CFP is wide open after this week, the BYU loss definitely shakes things up a bit, looking forward to see what the committee does
@Bdon-tf2 Not exactly those conference championship spots are not tied to a conference. So say we have the ACC that is super weak if that plays out. Then Army and Boise state with strong season and conference champs would have a strong case while Clemson if they are your ACC champ if Louisville gets any more losses that hurts them. While the other two are undefeated (with a win over the fighting Irish.) and the other has one loss and is already highly ranked meaning the ACC isn't a super lock if this plays out
I do think the committee will look favorably on a Clemson ACC winner over a team from the AAC like army or Tulane but we’ll have to see how things play out

If Clemson won they are in though. The ACC is always guaranteed a spot
