    Hey everyone 👋🏼
    Hope you enjoyed this game against Vixens 💪🏻
    This was back in October and the creation of our team that was put together only one month before!
    It was our first match all together
    We’re so happy to be part of this first women’s division wct tournament and hope to show the path to encourage more women’s to get involved 😊 ! Thanks to those who supports us, we really appreciate it ❤
    This is only the beginning 😉
    Let’s keep growing this sport ☝🏼

      Not really niche IMHO with a million subs on YT and coverage on ESPN.

      @@onreact I mean... of you asked a total stranger on the streets about this, I'd guess that in over 95% of times he'd have no idea that this sport exists. So yeah, pretty niche. But as I said, it's getting bigger and bigger...

      @@onreact I wouldn't say that either of those criteria negate a "niche" claim. ESPN is notorious for covering literally anything that might even be associated with a sport, and a million is a fairly good sub goal for any multi-year channel.

    As impressive as this match was, it really showed me the value of familiarity with the course. Footing, confidence, and pathing are all limited or enhanced by that familiarity. So used to watching the guys with more familiarity, makes the women seem almost tentative from an outside perspective, and yet they're still killing it out there. Huge props to everyone in this match, so excited for the finals!

    • @dominitrov
      @dominitrov ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I agree. You can see they spend a lot more attention on their pathing than their opponent. I’ve even seen a couple chases in the men’s where they don’t take their eyes off their evader because they are just that familiar with the quad

  • @squaresphere
    @squaresphere ปีที่แล้ว +56

    Nice match, seems to be the case of Kunoichi just being more familiar with the obstacles and better pathing decisions.

    @egaskrad ปีที่แล้ว +4

    So the women league is fun to watch too. Because they are shorter, the strategies are so very different. Some of those dives doesn't work for men at all because they are too big. I have seen so many new moves. Amazing.

  • @pwndnoob4937
    @pwndnoob4937 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    As soon as round 4 happened, knew it was over, you don't get that sort of spike without a lot of practice.
    Interestingly, it looked like Vixens might actually had more parkour experience. A lot of the gals were lightfooted up high. But heads up play + speed + opponents running into surprising bars = rout.
    Easy fave for finals too.

  • @ParkourUkemi

    I'm blown away by some of these already rising stars in this first ever all women's competition, especially because they had so little time to put teams together and prep. So excited to see women in WCT. Bright future! :)

  • @iamkybaldwin
    @iamkybaldwin ปีที่แล้ว +16

    Whilst sitting in your room commenting negatively is a favorite TH-cam hobbie for many people, firstly, maybe remember the saying, if you have nothing nice to say then don't say it at all, and two, recognize the facts that women were invited in to this comp about 6 weeks before the event. Most had barely had time on a quad let alone having specialized training. The mens comp has been going for years. So to compare the two you are just showing your ignorance.
    Congratulations to all the competitors. As my sister was one of them, I was there on the day, and the energy was amazing. Can't wait to see the growth.

    • @TowerDoge
      @TowerDoge ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Okay to tell people they are ignorant is starting the shit talking of which you said not to do.
      Watching season 1 of men's vs women's there is a VERY clear skill gap. Which is the case is most sports. That's not ignorant to point out just accurate.
      So if you don't have anything nice to say then don't day anything at all.

    • @iamkybaldwin
      @iamkybaldwin ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TowerDoge I said "IF" you are comparing the two you are showing ignorance and no-one here mentioned season 1 mens. If you think my rebuttle is equal to peoples personal attack then there is no conversation here.
      "Go girls, you killed it".

    • @TowerDoge
      @TowerDoge ปีที่แล้ว

      @Ky Baldwin I didn't see any message you were responding to. It just seemed like a blanket statement attacking anyone who may say something about the women's skill level.
      They did great. But they also look like they are new to the sport which they are so that's fine.
      But you made the comparison to men's later seasons in your comment so I further elaborated and made the comparison seasons 1 vs 1.

    • @iamkybaldwin
      @iamkybaldwin ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TowerDoge It was a blanket message replying to a handful of messages. There is one guy in particular that seems to be making a sport of critizing these athletes and the previous episode. Thankfully as usual these people are the minority.
      That comparison is also unjust.

    • @TowerDoge
      @TowerDoge ปีที่แล้ว

      @Ky Baldwin I don't think there is any "Fair" comparison when your talking about women and men competing at something that's full body athletic engagement. You wouldn't compare other world women's sports in other situations because the gap created by testosterone advantage makes it not even a comparison.
      But I'm not here to start an argument. Just seemed like you were being a hypocrit but seems you're in the right.
