- The 7th and last contingent at the Buglasan Festival 2019 Showdown came from Bais city, presenting the Tapasayaw Festival.
The term Tapasayaw comes from two Visayan dialect words tapas (sugarcane) and Sayaw (dance). Being one of the main producers of sugarcane in the province, Bais City celebrates the literal Sugarcane Dance Festival.
