  • Tennessee’s first baseball national championship was celebrated with a parade through Downtown Knoxville on Tuesday, June 25. The parade stepped off from the Gay Street Bridge around 6:15 p.m. and marched down to Wall Avenue.

    That one guy mess up said there was a team with 6 guys with 20 home runs but no team had 5 guys with 20 homeruns like tennessee

      Someone in the crowd got overheated and passed out. The other people in the crowd were yelling "medic". The person then got up and medics arrived, he seemed to be fine. I was standing nearby when this happened. It was very hot and crowded. Great time though! Go Vols!

      That's the reason I was not able to bring my dad. It was just too hot to walk a mile after parking and standing in the sun for 2 or 3 hours. Woulda been fine had it been cooler. ​@@aarongallagher8751

      School is out for the summer so most of the band members were not in Knoxville.
