I found them looking for covers of certain FF6 songs I love. They are the best by far. You cannot find anything on this level out there. Even better than the official big symphony renditions done by Square.

I'm so glad i found this channel.

However, years later, when I had my boyfriend play through the game, and Aerith became his favorite character early on, I was shaken to my core by the scene. Now the song crushes me. IMO it's missing a bit of variation in volume between crescendos and normal parts, as well as a slight under-emphasis of the horn-type instruments during crescendo, but yes, it's most excellent. Easily worthy of being preferable to be used as theme music for one's own thematic videos (with linked attributions) instead of the original corporate version.

I've been listening to Forever Rachel a lot lately, your performance of it in fact, and up until just now I would have sworn I'd made up my mind that it was the most beautiful. Now? Top treatment as always Mr. Orchestral Fantasy. I know we all have our favourites, but for me, the numerous themes, pieces and tone-gems of FF4, FF6 and FF7 are absolutely timeless for me. I feel the newer stuff, while solid, just doesn't compare to the magic of Nobuo's 90's Golden Period. I had nothing iconically stick with me from FF9, FF10 and FF12 the way the pieces from those earlier three did. It helps immensely that they were woven in with plot and character development that was vastly superior. And then of course Yasunori Mitsuda's _Chrono Trigger_ and Hitoshi Sakimoto's _Final Fantasy Tactics._ Those are my Big-Five from the 90's. There are a wealth of compositions from each of those that stick with me to this day.

I like this song but hate it because...well you know 💔 When I first played FFVII I thought I wasn't going to like the characters in this game. Me coming from FFVI I like the characters in that game more but the more I played VII the more the characters grew on me. I have a soft spot for Aerith by the way. She was always in my party from Midgar to the ancient city.
I've dreamed of something like this for years. I always wanted to be able to play beautiful music like this myself but my autistic brain won't cooperate with me.
