Very Very Very impressive! Looping envelopes as modulation? I am looking for a dual wavetable morphing OSC. This could be it! I was about to buy the waveshifter by intellijel. this video make my decision sooo hard to make.
It's not a stereo module. I just choose to use it that way sometimes. So you have a main output and second output that varies in function depending on the mode.
two outs here are stereo, but they don't have to be. The drums are modular drums that I either patched up and synthesised myself or from specific drum modules. I can't remember though.
So here's a question (keeping in mind i no clue of modular ).... what do i have get to make these sounds .. as in just the E352 and say a arturia beatstep (and obviously speakers ) ? Or do i need more modular to interact with the E352 ?
This patch was the drum sound, reverb FX module, mixer, sequencer, the E352 and 3x looping envelopes or LFOs. That's not listing specific modules just functions.

Kid ..To begin in modular some says an A100 is the best solution.... for you too?Its a big seller tellin me this so...maybe he just wanna sell..I dont know what 2 do.
Hey Jeff, a Doepfer A100 system is a good start as you get a bit of everything and plenty to learn on. However my advice would be get a case slightly bigger than you think you need/want so 6U or 9U (the Doepfer low cost cases are great, TipTop Mantis looks great too, or if you're feeling handy a Lamond Design DIY kit) and boil things down to a really simple level. You need a sound source, something to process the sound and something to modulate that. That could be 3 modules. Start there, really learn and rinse those modules and let that guide your purchasing. By using a small amount you'll quickly learn what you need next. If you're wanting a bit more to start with get a small mixer, dual VCA and the 3 modules (sound source, processor and modulator). Hope that helps.
oh and watch all the upcoming #3modulechallenge videos from the Modular Meets Leeds event. You'll see how much you can do with only 3 modules. both channels summed to mono from a single Aux out on the WMD Performance mixer into the Make Noise Erbe Verb then stereo out to stereo in on the TipTop Z-DSP with the Halls Of Valhalla then stereo out.
well there's usually multiple in the set up and that video was ~5 years ago so I can't be certain what it was. I'll have to listen and work from that as the system has changed a lot since then. The way the sound is 'hanging' in the reverb makes me think it is the Tiptop Audio Z-DSP with the Halls of Valhalla card. Could also have been the Audio Damage EOS module if that was out then but that's long discontinued and I don't think I had that back then (might not of even been released) but some overlap sonically anyway. Hope that helps.
This sounds so great 2 years later! Timeless. And the OS has received some great updates since.

the looping envelopes were the Qu-Bit Contour.
Does one of the outputs normalise to mono at all?

What's the reverb you are using here?
