I just noticed we got three Eternals here, Thena and Sersi fight against Ikaris that becomes their enemy after he betrayed his own friends which is exactly what happened in the movie. And three of them also wear suits from the movie. What a coincidence 😅
Actually Ikaris did not betray his fellow eternals. The others betrayed him. He was a loyal soldier following an order. He followed Arishem's orders while the Celestial Tiamut connected with Sersi to tell her that earth needs to be saved.

But the reason I said Ikaris was the one who did that because the Eternals already made a deal to stop the Emergence and Ikaris pretended to support the team. All was good until he decided to turn back against them. From that moment we all know that the others felt betrayed by what he did to his own friends. All they know was everyone had the same goal but turns out the one they thought was the most reliable on them was also the person who betrayed them. Talking about the order given by Arishem, it was also a mistake. Arishem only told them they were sent to Earth to protect humans from the Deviants and help them to improve (which sounds so heroic) while the main reason was to begin the Emergence that could kill the entire people on the planet which is why the Eternals decided to stop Arishem's plan because they love Earth and people on the planet especially Sersi and Ajak. So in this case Arishem betrayed the Eternals for not telling the truth, the Eternals betrayed Arishem because he wanted to destroy the Earth and Ikaris betrayed both the Eternals and Arishem because he tried to hurt his friends and he failed to stop Sersi from killing the Tiamut. Anyway it's a good movie tho. I hope to see Ikaris, Ajak and the whole team in the next movie because I already fall in love with this family

Ending was not weird. If you read the comics Tiamut wanted to help humanity. Tiamut sacrificed his birth to save earth.
