Unpopular opinion: in this game the Law route feels always like the most accomplished one. In Chaos, you're never really confessed that Naoya is Cain, and you always end up feeling like even though you're the King of Bel, you're still just Naoya's pawn. Whether you like Law or not, it feels more rewarding in this game in particular, because you finally know the truth about Naoya and are able to do something about it.
Storywise it is better, but people go for chaos for the power fantasy
of course, Cain shifts the responsibility for his crimes onto others. just as his father and mother Adam and Eve did...
I'm not too familiar with the story of Cain and Abel outside the game, but it doesn't sound like Cain was forced to kill Abel. He could've just killed one of Abel's sheep instead, but it sounds like he killed killed him because he was jealous

The dialogue in the endgame is just terrible imo,all this talk about religion,god,reincarnation/mytology people or creatures plus waves that the government wanted to use to kill people and demons feels like fanfiction or bad anime writing
SMT games usually center around religious topics to begin with. Not unexpected in a game where you summon demons to do battle. The government’s motive made sense given that there was the risk of demons making it out of the circle.
