as a new frost dk i learn a lot from your videos. pushed my rating already do 2,2k and cant wait to do higher keys. still missing 4piece which is decent dmg upgrade. my issue is without horn and emp weapon keeping breath long enough is hard. currently sitting at 29%crit buffed which is not optimal but its duable.
@@alexanderjanak4239im here with 14% crit and doing 32 seconds without horn on dummies. Just focus on your rotation and pop emp rune wep 5-8 seconds into breath, manage it correct and yku can fo it easily

Using pillar before deathmark = stronger wave of souls on AoE. You want to pool at-least 3 runes before using pillar otherwise you are wasting the cool down.

you want to do it so your buff the hit of reapers mark + wave of souls damage afterwards with pillar of frost. in single target you can either macro it with pillar or use it before pillar.

@@TemprTV iv played DK for a long time, if you're good at breath it's way stronger in higher content right now at least from my play. Looking at others it's like 95-99% breath spec in the logs for basically everything. I'd like to see that balanced better because right now if you're good at both you're for sure leaving damage on the table. The hot fix for shatter helps a lot tho so it might be a none issue now not sure, I'm out of town and haven't got to test yet.

If you had a druid instead of a mage for mark you could of had the entire team buff you...BS, Brand, Skyfury. Just missing mark and you might have broke 2 mil without aug

29 % crit is more than inf or not ? I checked the High players got about 30-31%.
@@kaitotv8278 29% with flask food and weapon oil. i did 30 second breath on dummy with only with horn and runic weapon.

dual wield with the new skill tree is better in all scenarios atm. 2h is around 5-6% behind

you want to RM after Pillar to buff Wave of Souls damage for aoe, and thats fine but I recommend just practicing and getting better at pooling runes!

Hey man! At what key level is it better to switch to a breath build? and do the group need to play around it for it to be worth?
I would say on average you can play it in around +10s, and nah your group doesnt need to play around it for it to be good, definitely helps though

very similar, you just take Horn of Winter instead of Murderous Efficiency and Inexorable Assault instead of Frostwyrm's Fury

yep, the higher and higher into keys you go breath starts pulling ahead. oblit is pretty close though
It really sucks that even with a revamp and hero talents we can't get away from breath build dominating.....
dominating high keys, but you will do more than enough dmg with obliteration. Just play obliteration if its more fun to you
definitely wouldnt say dominating, obliteration is very competitive atm

obliteration is completely fine, not sure what ur talking about. Breath is also only good in high keys btw and in my opinion much more fun
