Mari Kanive (also called as Vani Vilasa Sagara) was built between 1897 to 1907 by Shree Chamarajendra Wodeyar!
It's one of the oldest dams in Karnataka. This dam/reservoir is situated in Hiriyur Taluk, Chitradurga District.
This dam has not overflown in the past 89 years. 2022 is a remarkable year for this dam 😀. Watch this video and share your views in comments section.
