- Lebanon's health ministry that more than 350 people have been killed in Israeli strikes against Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah replied by targeting the northern Israeli port city of Haifa.
Around a quarter of the country's residents are living under restrictions, designed to keep them safe from the attacks.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warned on Monday of "irreversible" consequences if the Israel-Hezbollah conflict broadens into a regional war.
Speaking at the United Nations on Monday, Pezeshkian accused Israel of provoking Iran and the Middle East by intensifying strikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon. "We do not wish to be the cause of instability in the Middle East as its consequences would be irreversible," he said.
His remarks followed Israeli airstrikes on Hezbollah in Lebanon, with Israeli authorities warning about a special situation at the home front in the entire country that will last until at least September 30.
Turkey's Foreign Ministry published a brief statement on Monday regarding the recent strikes by Israel on Lebanon, blaming countries that offer unwavering support to Israel, which are complicit in the violence or conflicts that may arise.
"The countries that unconditionally support Israel are helping [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu shed blood for his political interests. It is imperative that all institutions responsible for maintaining international peace and security, especially the United Nations Security Council, as well as the international community, take the necessary measures without delay," the statement showed. Essentially, it criticizes both Israel's aggressive policies and the allies that back it without reservations.
The ministry insisted that Israel is "marking a new phase in its efforts to drag the entire region into chaos," following Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's remarks.
