Incredible Wentworth Falls, Climb down the mountain

- The Wentworth Falls are in the Blue Mountains National Park and are approximately 1 1/2 hours drive from Sydney in a town aptly named Wentworth Falls.
With a network of spectacular lookouts and bushwalking tracks in the area providing dramatic views of cliff top escarpments, and the endless blue vistas of the Jamison Valley and Mt Solitary, Wentworth Falls are an awesome sight to be seen.
The Falls themselves plunge over 100m in a series of two drops, each as spectacular as each other. The bottom of the first drop is by way of stairs literally cut into the cliff face, and the second by way of jaw dropping ladders and stairs to the cool pond below. Take your swimmers

I really like this video. I have explored the falls many times as I used to live at 'Wenty' in the 1960s to the late 1970s. Such a beautiful area and the video certainly shows it well.

Back in the day the falls use to roar and the water spray filled the air. I swam in the lake on weekends then peddled my bike over to the falls. They are quite spectacular. The slacks steps were wooden then and not so safe. I plan to explore again over the Dec/Jan period video camera in hand. Something for my TH-cam channel eventually.

bjl0v3s Hi there. Allow for most of the day. To the bottom of the main falls, allow around an hour to hour and a half. To the very bottom, allow for around 5 hours round trip. And don't forget you camera, plenty of water and a great lunch
