In shrimps its always best to have more females than males As in some aquatic species shrimps dont have aggressive tendency to kill each other for a female So yeah always get more females 1:3 would be a good ratio It will increase your chances of breeding The more mothers to carry eggs the more shrimps your going to get out of them
