Good video thanks man, I imagine different rims could weigh fairly different amounts too, so maybe the electrical tape could be more viable on a light rim, or that extra 3g of rotation wouldn’t matter much.

@badcredentials4230 great thoughts! I definitely will be weighing the different types of wheels now. Thanks!

The sound difference with foam was interesting, never thought about that

Yeah that's been known to happen when you're running with no foams it sounds like a drum same thing when you run in the o-ring sounds hollow😂. That's why I use foam to keep the tie a tight and stop the drum song.

Dra topline wheels on asphalt I use foam because of the grip

I use the ds racing wheels for asphalt and concrete because of gow well they hold a tire. Hpi nitto tires uo front and yokomo dra tires in the rear. All of my indoor wheels have foam on them and either mst gold dot or yokomo drp tires.

They are out of the gold at the moment but they are easy to paint and mask the faux tire part. Here is silver.

@SpAcE-gAdGeT thanks for sharing my friend! Yeah those ds wheels seem to fit a bit tighter than some of the one piece wheel designs.

@Jeshter2000 ive noticed that as well. I wasnt sure if it was me not tightening the wheel up true or if it came that way.
