Bro i respect your point of view but i also contradict your opinion from what i have seen in India average people in Society don't have adequate amount of knowledge to understand the need of different branches and wholesomly think that if you get in a particular institute like IIT or any other well known you will get the same pay as of your collegue irrespective of the branch (a lot of trash branches are included nowdays which don't have any future scope )and as youngsters and foolish people we get trapped in the filthy rat race of a college tag 💁♀️, but there are only some professionals like sir who clearify what's the difference and in what lvl is the difference among those branches and colleges once you choose, so i and everybody should have great respect to these teachers as well as their opinions , cause half of the world doesn't even know what engeneering is all about and i don't think it's oki for us to ignore those kind of social pathogens who are indirectly and unknowingly deteriorating the life of our youngsters the so called gems of upcoming India... 💁♀️At last i would like to say half knowledge is more harmful than no knowledge...thanks for reading 🙏 regards from Mr.AD

I always thought that IIITS have a better scope than many nits (except top 5) .Nits do not have that brand that some iiits have .But today everyone is choosing colleges by seeing others .
Sir, loved your video. As an outsider ( i have worked in shipping throughout), all we see is the IIT brand and the packages mentioned in the papers. You have really opened my eyes to the true ground situation. ( Especially about the average salary package). I always used to wonder why there are so many iit drop outs ? And so many who never follow their core branch and rather shift to management or upsc exams? Newer IIITs are doing well in terms of growth if they are guided by a major institution which is experienced enough to study their trajectory and work hard along with their own faculties and students. For example, when IIIT Kalyani was under IIEST Shibpur, it's growth was very minimal and only able to provide 4 lakhs average salary but when it came under mentorship of IIT Kharagpur, it started growing rapidly and within few years now having 10+ lakhs average placement with major recruiters coming.

Sir you are right 😂 My son was getting all top IIT's but lower branches, IIT Roorkee Mechanical, talked to students there... Everyone was like... overall development, you discover yourself 😂😂, explore yourself, you have time for yourself...but actual figures can be as low as 6-7 lakhs for placements...avg..will be 10-12. The reason companies understand the brand of IIIT'S. Many say IIT is brand, but not to forget IIIT's are also hard to get.

I think in IIT and NIT people learn extra courses like Codingninja or Scalar etc. Also IIT and NIT Engineers are well equiiped to do multiple jobs like Mission Critical Software of Space Company, Embededd software for Aitomobile and other softwares compared to IIIT which only teachs single dimension coding. Imagination of IIT or NIT or IIEST is better than IIIT people. For Eg: IIIT people are good for Facebook, Google, Paytm but IIT or NIT or IIEST students are good for Amazon, SpaceX, Tesla, Infosys, Wipro, IBM, etc. So there is difference which is good. Overall Imagination power and mathematics of IIT or NIT or IIEST is good.

Sir I do agree with you regarding IIT and IIITS BUT have one doubt that still some PPP MODEL like LNMIIT I found or you can say studied a lot regarding this institute found equivalent to IIIT. AS well as curriculum is far in comparison with all top notch IIITs and chances of research is still there. What I found.still I request you to explore in this regard especially LNMIIT. PLEASE.

Sir, IIT are good no doubt but Please inform students, got to IIIT & see what they are doing, meet the students, see the coding level there also, check syallabus etc, IIIT are also good only college fees is little more because of PPP model. Number of company visiting college campus for recruitment in many IIIT are more than the number of students appearing for campus job.

Also you are contradicting your own statements like - "you studied for iit, why take an nit or iiit" or you said to always take any iit whatever the branch is. Sir, loved your video. As an outsider ( i have worked in shipping throughout), all we see is the IIT brand and the packages mentioned in the papers. You have really opened my eyes to the true ground situation. ( Especially about the average salary package). I always used to wonder why there are so many iit drop outs ? And so many who never follow their core branch and rather shift to management or upsc exams? One reasoning could be that they really aspired something else , or the other ( as you've rightly pointed out ) they didn't get placed .

Sir the topic which u have discussed , I was also stuck in the same situation , whether to choose IIT Or IIIT, and i choose IIIT Allahabad just because of their coding culture ,young faculty and revised syllabus and the points which u spoke are 100 % true.

Good Morning Sir. Thanks for the great video. I have got a seat in UIET Chandigarh in CS it is affiliated to Punjab University and is the best college in JAC counselling. I have also applied for JOSA counselling and expect to get CS in IIIT such as Nagpur,Una, Patna etc. Your suggestion for the correct choice will be very helpful. Every college has to work hard in this internet / youtube world otherwise they will be exposed next day.
Newer IIITs are doing well in terms of growth if they are guided by a major institution which is experienced enough to study their trajectory and work hard along with their own faculties and students. For example, when IIIT Kalyani was under IIEST Shibpur, it's growth was very minimal and only able to provide 4 lakhs average salary but when it came under mentorship of IIT Kharagpur, it started growing rapidly and within few years now having 10+ lakhs average placement with major recruiters coming.

I think in IIT and NIT people learn extra courses like Codingninja or Scalar etc. Also IIT and NIT Engineers are well equiiped to do multiple jobs like Mission Critical Software of Space Company, Embededd software for Aitomobile and other softwares compared to IIIT which only teachs single dimension coding. Imagination of IIT or NIT or IIEST is better than IIIT people. For Eg: IIIT people are good for Facebook, Google, Paytm but IIT or NIT or IIEST students are good for Amazon, SpaceX, Tesla, Infosys, Wipro, IBM, etc. So there is difference which is good. Overall Imagination power and mathematics of IIT or NIT or IIEST is good.

Sir I do agree with you regarding IIT and IIITS BUT have one doubt that still some PPP MODEL like LNMIIT I found or you can say studied a lot regarding this institute found equivalent to IIIT. AS well as curriculum is far in comparison with all top notch IIITs and chances of research is still there.

Sir, IIT are good no doubt but Please inform students, got to IIIT & see what they are doing, meet the students, see the coding level there also, check syallabus etc, IIIT are also good only college fees is little more because of PPP model. Number of company visiting college campus for recruitment in many IIIT are more than the number of students appearing for campus job.

Thanks for the video sir. But this should have come before choice filling. Also you are contradicting your own statements like - "you studied for iit, why take an nit or iiit" or you said to always take any iit whatever the branch is.
Many of my friends also took this advice and took branches like civil and mining in top iits even when they could've taken cse in top iiits and nits
