the pcb has copyright 2011 but i dont see any higher versions since v5. so albeit the latest not sure on when it was released version.

Are you able to use 8 ohm 15 watt Speakers on the voice driver

hi. im no expert in this field but from what i understand 4 ohm speakers have less resistance, so will play louder at the same volume setting as an 8 ohm speaker and so on, according to the instructions it shows multiple speaker configurations 8ohms in series and parallel. if you plan on many speakers i would recommend an Amplifier to connect between this and the speakers. I connected x3 speakers in parallel with no problem. but someone who is knowledgeable would have the best answer. 🙂👍

Does it have an option where it stops voice prompts after a certain amount of times? For instance, it will say the normal “fire, fire, please evacuate the building.” But after five times it then just plays the code 3 tone over and over?

hi. there is nothing in the jumper settings for that nor anything in the manual. 🙂
