Tried this today. Although I don't like Hing, having tempered it well in the hot oil took care of my dislike to the pungent smell, and I guess it did add to the flavour! In fact, it was delicious! Enjoyed my Hara Choliya of the season! Thanks for a great recipe!🤩

May be, coz raw choliya may not cook properly, if added after dahi. So it's better to add pre-cooked choliya after addition of dahi. Otherwise one can skip dahi and add raw choliya to the cooked masala.
I think it's a mistake to cook in cooker.choliya cooks very fast.Tastes good even half cooked.Thats y Sanjeev said not to overcook.Its eaten raw as well

Why this point was not answered by Sanjeev. I too was stuck & had not tried the recipe.
