As someone that has been following her since 2015, there is so much nostalgia of all the places I have brought her music with me in my life, her songs are like a sister to me.
So did I, she has a truly special voice. She also grew a lot musically-speaking in such a short period of time (year 2014) which is mind-blowing and she just kept growing and elvolving ever since. I bought a ticket to go to her concert in May 2025 and I just can't wait for this day to come. I wanted to go to her concert in september but, not so surprinsigly, the ticket website is all sold out !
2014 is nothing more and less than the revelation of an angel, of the best and most beautiful singer songwriter ever, it is really crazy how brilliant she was back then. Runaway, winter bird, Lucky, through the eyes of a child, i went to far, under stars, awakening and so on. what other artist can do that? This overview shows it very nicely. what I still wonder now is, how can someone write songs like infections of a different kind, this should actually be impossible but Aurora does it. I have memories attached to each song. So much has happened over the years. I feel freedom, loneliness, empowerment, betrayal, serenity, desperation, despair and hope from these songs. AURORA is just an emotional rollercoaster 🎢

Personally, my favourite music style of hers was the one she stepped into the public eye with at first. Her old style, but I do really love her new music as well. She was a caterpillar, and is now a butterfly. 🦋
I feel like she really hasn't changed much. Sure, each song is different, but I don't feel like she's had some sort of drastic transformation that is unexplainable by simply growing as a person. The lyrics are all in the same vein, the music is unique. The only thing I can think of is that we've formed deeper connections to her old work cause its been around longer and we were all younger, and we've had less time to form connections to this new work she's made.
i think that's what makes her sort of unique. with all the same words and essence of music she makes in general, she still creates something new to discover for us and for herself too. but ofc there are things that change over time naturally like vocals (speaking of vocals omg what happened to the heart is amazing), band and more. cannot help but think she doesn't need words so much. it's just that we as people are used to be communicating with words.

I like her voice on the two albums of infection of a different kind of human. Her singing style has changed recently. Although I know that as she grows older, change is inevitable, and I will always love her, but you know, I really miss her previous songs and voices.
"A Different kind of Human" was my favorite album till "What Happened To The Heart" came, idk, but I really love these 2 albums, they are so emotional to me like nothing else.

There are some curiosities about some of the release dates. Her songs from Infections of a Different Kind were already being played live more than two years before. Also "Bring Back the Colour" was a very old unreleased song called "The Sun" (the unreleased version is way better to me). She also have some really good unreleased songs like Silhouettes, Broken Satellites and The Architect from the same era. She also has a whole album in norwegian but I believe it isn't available from outside of Norway, you may need some VPN to access it online.
There's a Norwegian Aurora album? The only songs that I know from her in Norwegian are Stjernestøv, Vinterens Gåte, Det Hev Ei Rose Sprung, and Helvegen. Are those the songs that you're talking about or are there others? Because if there are others I would really like to hear them since I love her Norwegian songs.

Also "Bring Back the Colour" was a very old unreleased song called "The Sun" (the unreleased version is way better to me). She also have some really good unreleased songs like Silhouettes, Broken Satellites and The Architect from the same era. She also has a whole album in norwegian but I believe it isn't available from outside of Norway, you may need some VPN to access it online.
There's a Norwegian Aurora album? The only songs that I know from her in Norwegian are Stjernestøv, Vinterens Gåte, Det Hev Ei Rose Sprung, and Helvegen.
