Okay sooooooo. Trying to figure this song out. From what I can tell the opening chords and main chromatic riff are standard tuning except with both E strings tuned to D... Then for the solo he re-tunes his E strings back to standard? Or maybe just the high E because he goes back into the main chromatic riff that you need the Low E tuned to D for. Can't see if he tunes it back down before going back into the chromatic riff though. Anyway. Cool stuff. Rocco is a G.
a bit nitpicky but it bothers me when the editor/director don't match the live video with the instruments. i know there's probably the "main live video" where the music exactly matches the video; then added some takes afterwards for B rolls or something.
