If you find the pink wire behind the radio you can just splice it to the black ground wire. The pink wire is the parking brake control for your radio. Hope that helps .

7 months ago, I successfully bypassed the DSP lock on my 2017 Honda HR-V, and now I can display what is on my phone, onto my Nav screen. Google maps satellite mode looks stunning on Honda’s HRV display. Just upgraded my hdmi cord to a 4K ultra hdmi cord and it increased the graphic quality even more. Bmws’ cannot even match my GUI interface unless they bi pass their locks, which would be even more expensive for them. It had taken me 2 1/2 years. It did not require rewiring, hacking, script kiddie techniques and malware attacks. I don’t want to share it either because too many stupid people will act irresponsible with them and then cause everyone on the road to loose screen mirroring freedom while on the road.
Hello joooyceee, don’t know how you’re liking your pilot or not. We love ours. We initially loved the touring & elite trim packages that use the push button transmission shifter like you said. Unfortunately discovered that those 2 packages only come in a 9-speed transmission and that particular transmission Honda put in those was extremely temperamental and susceptible to malfunctioning. Even when they had very low miles. Not to mention if you have 50,100,150k on it. This was a huge bummer to us because we loved the look and the features that come with those trim packages but we weren’t willing to accept the heavy cost risk for it. With that said, the next trim package below Touring is the EX-L and from there down they all come with a six speed automatic transmission and it is totally bulletproof. Super reliable like you expect from Honda. With that EX-L You can get it with navigation and rear entertainment system and heated seats and rear window sunshades and a bunch of other add-ons. If you’re buying it used obviously you’re at the discretion of what is for sale. By no means am I even close to being considered an expert on these matters and I am very aware that I am a novice I know very little except for the small amount of research we’ve done. This nine speed transmission issue might not be a problem anymore and if you already ownyour vehicle in your case It might not be. . Good luck, Enjoy your Pilot

you just forgot to say that every time you turn off the vehicle you have to repeat the process when you start it again, because the system takes a reset and it does not work the next time you start with the vehicle. turn off the vehicle and repeat the procedure every time you turn the car on again, right ??

It should already be there. While you are staring at your car's main screen menu, just touch the screen with your fingers and SWIPE TO THE RIGHT. You will then see a few small icons including the browser icon, which will be like this symbol 🌏. That is your "google". Click on that, then you just type youtube or wherever else you want go in the top internet address bar. But first in order to do that you need to have your car connected to Wi-Fi. Go into your cars settings, and then go to the Wi-Fi settings and add a nearby Wi-Fi + password, or turn on your phone's hotspot and add that in as your Wi-Fi.

I beleive exl and upper trim comes with nev. If u have anything else, then ur only option will be to use androied or apple play to mirror ur phones gps on the screen.
I have tried it on a 2017 Pilot EXL. it works but once you turn off the car and turn back on the settings goes back to default. You have to manually do it every single time. Good to know though.

Ryan C. Pull your oem out and replace it with a different oem model of the same year from eBay, look up serial code to enter into the new unit to unlock it, this should disarm the dsp from coming back on after putting it back in drive. I did it this way with my 2017 Honda hrv navigation system.

You also should uncheck the “desktop view” so you have the application format of TH-cam

panos panagakis try holding the vol+phone+brightness key. if it pops uup the secreate menus thn hold the phone key/button. hope that will help.

It’s more like over high maintenance. What your asking does not make practical sense. It’s more of a hindrance.

Try going to > System Settings and disable > Safe Mode if you have that option
