I'm an Australian who has just moved to England and this video was lovely. It relaxed me and made feel a little bit at home. It also made me realise how much I miss Arnotts Shapes cheese and bacon biscuits and also burger rings!!
I'm an Aussie too, I love all your videos. I eat tim tams the same way but I use double coat or caramel and hot milo lol. and I love vegemite, butter and slices of block cheese on saos. I loved reading the mini bio quizzss and fun facts on the fantales wrappers and lost many loose teeth growing up chewing on these lol. thank you for the video brought back lots of child hood memories 😊
It is so interesting to see all these foods/snacks from your part of the world!! Thank you for doing this! I'm the kind of person who loves to try new things so this is wonderful. I can't imagine anyone wanting to see some of the things we eat here in Texas (USA)....some of them are pretty nasty, besides the fact that a lot of it is HOT (as in 'spicy'). Buy I'm a huge wimp so I usually make the regular "hot" version for my family and an extremely mild version for my wimpy self!! Lol!! Thanks again, Miss Deez - lovely job, as usual!! God bless! 😊💞
We don't have any of these in America. Something similar to the vegemite/cracker for us would be saltine crackers with peanut butter, but that's more from my childhood than a regular thing. I think I may visit Cost Plus World Market (are those only in the US?) & see if I can find any of these just to try & share with my kids.
tkmaz Sorry, I have no idea if Cost Plus World Market are US only. Great that you want to try some of the food though. Hope you find what you are looking for. I love trying food from other countries. I will be doing another video on Iconic Australian foods very soon. :)
@@deezireasmr5221 Thanks ma'am, I really wanna try Aussie snacks. I'm just so bored of American food. I heard you guys eat KFC there in Australia. That's pretty cool. I also happen to live where KFC was first invented and is also my favorite restaurant.
Yes, KFC has been around for years here. First had it when I was a little girl. Mum and dad would buy it every six weeks or so. I last had some around two weeks ago. :)
Hi Tahlia...sorry no reply tab under your comment so I have to reply this way. Thank you. Hope you are not too home sick :) I plan on doing another food vid and burger rings are on the menu lol. I love those cheese and bacon flavoured shapes, also the chicken. Yummy!!
Good to know I'm not the only one who does that. Although I stay away from them these days, too many calories. That's funny how you call them penguins!! :)
Deez: Who is this actor born in 1956 that starred in Catch me if you can, Saving Private Ryan.... Me: Tom Hanks!!!! Deez: ...and the Terminator... Me: o_0 Lol

This was a nice video. Thank you for posting this. I've actually had Tim Tams and Cherry Ripes when my uncle from the U.K brought them over. Both very good. I think we can get some of these goods in the U.S, but they're rare to find. I've only been able to find Tim Tams in one place and that was a market in the city where I live. Sort of expensive, but good for a occasional treat, especially during the holidays.
I’ve watched this video almost 100 times. This is on my top 5 TH-cam videos of all time.

You should try peanut butter crackers with honey drizzled on it. Lol. I'm from Kentucky
What is Vegemite and what does it taste like? ☺️
It's a spread widely used on toasted bread and it has a very unique salty taste.
