It’s funny a lot of the comments saying Marzipan IS stupid, when I’m pretty sure she’s doing it intentionally here. I mean her boyfriend walks up to her and addresses her as “hey stupid,” it seems like her reaction is to respond, “You’re not actually any cuter than this sandwich, which despite being an inanimate object is still nicer to me. I’m going to pour all my love and attention into it instead, and even give it your name!”
I have no idea why, but this was somehow the first Homestar cartoon I ever watched. It was such a weird and somewhat-confusing intro to this world, because it shows pretty much all the main characters, but it also doesn't explain anything about them (except that The Cheat lives in the King of Town's grill, which actually does remain consistent throughout the series).

This cartoons probably the most sane and down to earth I've seen Homestar.
It’s certainly a far cry from the Homestar in Secret Recipes: Tricked into falling for his own prank, and walks away fully convinced *he* won.
