It's hard to explain to people what kind of house / techno vibes I like, even in the same genre it's so different...to me it's this weird hypnotic, summer night in the woods and it's a bit foggy, mystic, pixies having a party, progressive, joyful vibe
Ah yes. 1995 - 2005. what a time to grow up in. The Tunes tunes that came out of that era: so amazing and influential. Sasha, Digweed , Cattaneo, Oakenfold, Warren, Seaman, Tenaglia, my introduction to this genre was Northern Exposure: Expeditions in 1999. Never heard anything like it till then and broadened my horizens immencely. I find myself searching for new mixes that can rival the classics but they just keep me coming back for more and digging deeper into them. Great mix btw and done the most commendable way. Not much that can keep my attention and interest like this. its art.
I just don't understand, how can people call EDM of the present day the same way - progressive house? I mean, are they deaf? These two "progressives" are worlds apart. Anyway, the mix is terrific, revives those golden vibes of early 00s. Thanks!

The progressive house boys always used to mock trance, I think it was because trance at the time went really commercial and all the girls liked it, whereas if you liked progressive house you was a nerd and went to parties that were 90% male.
