Fan Yang the empress explained that Ari was being treated to recover from her shock... the empress explains it to Ari’s birth mom when she asked why Ari doesn’t remember her. Ari basically went into shock and had selective memory.. the fact that she knows her birth mom did something so evil was probably too much to acknowledge for someone her age, so her brain chose to delete those memories for her own sake... the empress said she’s being treated so that means they were helping her regain and recover from her memory loss.. I think with the short amount of time they had to close everything up, there wasn’t enough time to explain and show everything so they condensed it to simple explanations
I think this ending is correct. Those who committed sins had to leave their everything. The ending back music was too good. I can express my feelings but I think it's a bit nostalgic. Where everyone used to live became an empty place. This is the end of sins I guess.

What really bothered me is that nobody remembered him. NWS simply died ,and next as if he had never existed.

A nostalgic end i just love it "sin connot always be forgiven but can be paid by death or remorse" ... some say that is Oh sunny fault that they all died but when you commit a sin you know what could happend...and anyway they knew what they did even after they missdeeds they still continued. Darkness always come to light. Poor Ari at her age she had to pretend to not know her maternal mother so she could let her legal proxy(sunny) not have to wory about her not finding out her mother missdeeds. I can't believe that both male lead died and left poor sunny by herself...Wangsik and Hyunk better look after Sunny and Ari through heaven i wish them peace. A very peaceful end 😭😭😍

Uh this ending is just weird and doesn’t make sense. If all this was only “1 year” later, it wouldn’t make sense that no one would recognize Crown Princess Ari or Queen Sunny. For them to go the palace and no one would recognize them is like... unrealistic 🤷🏻♂️
I know your comment was a year ago but I agree! I hated how they killed off Na Wang Shik. The man literally had a bullet on his head throughout the series and escaped death so many times, it was upsetting how they easily killed him off!

Me parece que Na Wan Sik merecía un final mucho más digno, el personaje fue un pilar importante para que sucediera la trama de la historia y su muerte pasó prácticamente desapercibida por los demás personajes, le restaron importancia y eso es injusto.

El drama constaba originalmente de 48 capítulos pero se extendió a 52 debido a la gran aceptación por parte de la audiencia. Me parece que Na Wan Sik merecía un final mucho más digno, el personaje fue un pilar importante para que sucediera la trama de la historia y su muerte pasó prácticamente desapercibida por los demás personajes, le restaron importancia y eso es injusto.

El drama constaba originalmente de 48 capítulos pero se extendió a 52 debido a la gran aceptación por parte de la audiencia. El actor ya no estaba disponible para grabar los episodios extras así que la producción se vio forzada a matar a su personaje.
@@dianavelazquez1970 eso es muy cierto pero creo que e visto muertes más dignas para alguien que fue el pilar de todo eso, no se almenos que la noticia de su muerte a Oh Sunny fuera más significativa o que apareciera como un recuerdo para ella en final como lo que hicieron con el. Emperador, pero bueno eso pasa cuando no calculas bien y solo quieres más audiencia.
