I don't think you're giving yourself enough credit in the video. Your skills combined with your willingness to roll with the unexpected really paid off.
@@DIYCreators helllo ! can you please tell me one thing i was thinking about it a lot .. please ! is it a strong bond between the this cement and epoxy as compared to wood . will it ever break or just detach from the spot of bond ? please answer thhis … i love watching your videos it really helps .. thanks brother !
Isn’t it amazing when creating something that it always turns out different than what you intended? But it’s a good thing !! That is true creativity❤ I love your style.
Awesome project fix. Very nice job turned out very well there. Hopefully ur get great use out of it my friend for many years to come. Can't wait to see more videos soon. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Keep making. God bless.
At first, I liked the mat look better, til I seen the polish. That white, snow look of the concrete really knocked it out the park. Very impressive fruit bowl.
Thank you very, very much to DIY creators for being absolutely perfect, impeccably flawless and immaculate to the very highest degree! This channel is of perfect brilliance, amazing flawlessness and impeccable innovation! It not only provides perfect innovative ideas but empowers people (especially black people/people of colour) that they can be very successful if they put their minds to it! Thank you for being divinely perfect in every single aspect! I am well damn proud to be a subscriber/supporter! Keep on striving from impeccable excellence to absolute perfection!
This was great. I hate throwing away pretty vases, bowls or platters that ended up in the hands of a child or butterfingered adult. Epoxy resin is the key.

What a FUN project! The outcome is spectacular and you tell me this is your first time doing this? Wow! Impressive! Your "don't sweat it" attitude speaks to your creativity and I'd love to spend a day crafting and creating with you. TYFS this... it's a keeper for sure! Smiles from the Southern California desert, MK 😁🏜
Very nice. Almost like kintsugi. I bet that would look nice in the evenings out on the patio with a plant pot inside and surrounded by a run of LED lights shining through the resin.
Amazing work, Glen! It really turned out beautiful! 😃 One idea, in case you want to make more of those, would be to make some silicone molds! That way it would be much easier to remove the bowl from it! Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
If you vibrate the mold after pouring the concrete and again after the resin, you'll get rid of a lot of the air bubbles. Use an orbital sander on the sides of the mold right after you pour the concrete, and again after you pour the resin.
I did vibrate it a little, but because I could not see I was not sure how much. I figured there would be micro bubbles, not that large one I shown. I know for next time to put in a bit more effort.
Awesome idea! Nice job! Thank you for sharing! I have made fountains an all kinds of cement structures but never have tried resin in the plans! Now I know what I’m gonna try next! Thx You rock! Keep posting your work, you have a very creative gifting I think! 🙏🥰
Can I recommend that you mount the bowl upsidedown sealing it to a board. Then put your demolding wax on, concrete, then do your epoxy. The problem you are having with bubbles is that the bowl has a pocket underneath. Epoxy is self leveling as long as the surface is level. Now: Having 2 bowls 1 for concrete and 1 for the final is a good idea! Don't ever forget to use demolding wax or spray, that's an amateur move buddy!
I don't think you're giving yourself enough credit in the video. Your skills combined with your willingness to roll with the unexpected really paid off.
I've been wanting to incorporate cement into my business for forever. It's such a sleek modern look. Thank you for getting my wheels turning!
You are welcome! It's a good way to mix things up

Definitely thinking outside of the box, good job dude.
Thanks!
You are one of the only DIY channels which are really DIY without those crazy power tools nobody can effort. I like that!
You are so cool, this is how are should be done! I really like you!!!
Absolutely beautiful 🤩. Thanks for sharing 💛
Glen I loved how the cement resin bowl turned out. It reminds me of the ocean's wave hitting the side of a cliff. Love everything you make.
Nice job sanding, matte is nice also.😊
Love what you're doing
I appreciate it.

You sure do good work. This is probably my favorite of your "artistic" creations. The blue and cement color look great together.
Thank you very much!

Man, you're a good teacher.
I mixed my epoxy with “rock “ free mason mix .. then I mixed mica powder for color. I used this for my shower floor. It worked !!!
Sounds stunning! Care to share details… substrate, thickness, recipe?

Here you had to dump hot water onto the plastic mold to extract the cement content. 👍👍
Awesome!

i love how the title says concert instead of concrete
The key to making good cement is to keep adding water to it until it looks right 😂
Nice😎
Wow this is an awesome and beautiful bow I love the two mix mediums you used to make. is your epoxy food safe? And if it is what brand is it
Thanks, I am not sure if this brand I used it food safe. Any casting resin should work you just need to check their label.
Okay will do thank you👍
Cool 😁
Good
excellent video, it would be great if you could make a guide for a jigsaw as I have one but the cuts don't come out very well
Thanks, I will keep that in mind
