What I love most about this home is how they are in the incredibly fortunate position to live right next door to each other and the children can move in and out between both homes… which is how it is in a lot of European towns and villages
This house is a stunner. It's a Greek design with a modern minimalist twist. The pure white facade contrasted by the live greens is a superb finish with the arches in the background. Inside the home, the serenity continues in the same fashion with subtle contrasts and natural elements. So different from the houses generally covered on this channel.
I am not sure that people's comments based on what they like or don't like are remotely interesting to anyone else. The architect and builder have exactly fulfilled the brief of the family, who are clearly really proud and happy with the results. The climb up or down through the site internally managed to create a feeling of going through a Greek island village, and especially appreciated the view down into the lovely little courtyard.
@janelte Are you sure that your comments, based on your observations, are interesting to anyone? Personally, I enjoy reading comments from people who point out things I might not have noticed; or have a different perspective.
While perfection may be subjective, this tour certainly showcases a harmonious balance between comfort, practicality, and the cherished moments that make a house a home for any family. 😍😍
The unfenced-off garden point reminds me of kids playing out in the UK 60s-70s. A big communial mix & neighbours we looked out for each other, the house is great.
I live in Yate and our front gardens are like this, all connected, no fences and lots of green pedestrian walkways, similar to where I grew up. But what's weird is the kids don't play out. And I can't figure out why (we did when I was a kid in the 80/90s). What's changed.
Great design! What a wonderful concept of homes next to each other with related family members. Such a great way to raise kids. Wish I was one of them....
With where they are in Australia, I don’t think that house is less than $10 million. I have asked the same question as you: can we see houses less than 20 million. Where somebody did a lot style wise, without a lot of income. Still have not gotten a response lol
I wish they incorporated some more natural materials, warmer tones that recall stone and sand, and a touch of cycladic color palette with blue and green glass tiles for an ocean motif. I do like the use of curves and organic lines throughout, although the vertical balcony railings breaks that a bit. Personally I would've opted for a different shape
The overall design is nice but I think the excessive amount of white makes the house to look more like an hospital, very cold, uninviting and boring. They missed the chance to add color with the furniture or beautiful art in the walls. At the end there's nothing really interesting that catch your eye, IMO. On the positive side, I loved the garden and the fact that the kids can move freely from one house to another. It reminds me of my childhood, when life was more peaceful and neighbors trust each other more.
True, but having timeless stone, concrete, timber and white paint in a house makes it easy to update overtime by just replacing furniture. I guess this is the furniture they like right now but could easily be updated. It can be very hard to update houses. All those 90s houses with horrible brown kitchens and bathrooms… if only they were white and built with natural products it wouldn’t be so much work to update and renovate
@@J.e.f.f.r.e.y Yeah, I agree that when it comes to decoration, the current state of the house can be easily be improved cause with all the white everywhere is like an unused canvas. That can be easily fixed but it's obvious the owners are happy as it is today. Regards.
I would like to know what material the walls were made of and what finishing they used on them. This off white mediterranean finishing is really beautiful! S2
All in all a nice house. I like the brightness, the curves, the mediterranean courtyard. What I don't like so much are the many offsets. You could have integrated some nice vegetation there. There's too much going on for the size of the house.
The house is too white in my opinion. I am wondering if that is a problem with a young family with children around. But overall nice. Especially the plants look very nice indeed.
Romans 8:38-39 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow-not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below-indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.❤❤❤
I lived in places that had this Santorini/Casablanca vibes here in Florida and never had worse neighbors in my life and thought the places were hell in my childhood years. Never again.
@@Peachu_n_Goma_Home They didnt make it clear but shes a fashion designer so it makes sense for her profession - it does sound off without context for sure!
Girl.. As a Greek, living in Athens and facing the Athenian reality every day, the only Greek thing about this house is that all the family lives together 😛IMHO it's more of a fetishisation of what Greece is to a foreigner, a rich one anyways👀..
I wonder how they’ll navigate the levels when they’re in their 60s-70s. It’s inevitable that our mobility becomes challenged to some degree as we age, no matter how proactive we are in our 30s. That’s one things home buyers and builders consistently fail to address in their choices.
They own a gym. Not their home gym, but like a huge proper gym with trainers and hundreds/thousands of members. I bet they'll probably still be fitazfk in their 70s. 😄
@@janicestevens4245 Fitness helps of course. But it isn’t the guarantee we like to think it is. Later life mobility depends almost entirely on genes and unanticipated health challenges. For instance, my husband at age 65 sustained two spinal cord injuries, one falling off his bicycle, (which kept him very fit) the other falling in the shower. He’s in a wheelchair now.
This channel has some of the most amazing properties but the way they shoot the video with homeowners stories are SO boring. Like show us more of the house and less talking please. This video is painfully slow with not much view of the house

Loved the video, just 1 thing: dark borders on white letters, so they can be read if the subject is white

Having recently renovated a house, I can safely say : when money is no object.
Stunning and so great it includes the shared garden for kids to grow up together
Love the kids free access to cousins. Nice design.

Can we get more homes that aren’t priced over 1.4 million?
People want to relate, not just dream
Underrated comment
I'm thinking this was closer to 5
I see it at motivation. That’s where I’m wanting to be someday. Why not let the burn of not having it motivate me?

This house is stunning. Absolutely love the plant choices as well the artwork.
It's lovely, serene, and refined, unlike much of the commentary here.
Now that everyone knows you’re judging, they’ll make an effort to please you ;o)
Love this house! The owners seem like good people, too.

So calm 🌹
Super Circuit Party vibes... 🤣
While I love the focus on family and community, the buildings themselves are devoid of any local sub-tropical context.
IyHo!
May I please know which white shade is used in interior walls...?
The house is stunning
I plan to sell my property and buy something and design it with Greek vibes.... Inspired
What is Greece here inspired? Lovely home, beautiful design, but again, white, beige, and marble..
Very striking home. Many exceptional moments throughout, one of my favourites being that courtyard. Well done, everyone.

The tiktokification of Cycladic architecture. Honestly I expected better from an architecture channel that is (usually) really good.
Ooh, I get what you mean. I agree.
I'm not sure what you mean by this, the owners are Greek and the brief was clearly fulfilled. Where does TikTok come into play?
They’re Greek, it’s what they asked for lol
I love cycladic design, and I dont even use tiktok
A house like in Greece, it looks like another three bird renovations freedom furniture vibe

How do they cook for large family with a tiny kitchen?
They seem to have two kitchens, you can see the main one at 2:29 and the other at 5:18.
