I'm least excited about the bs heroic and mythic changes. Some dungeons won't be available until season two and that's just not adding anything of value to the game or the community. Why should. Have to wait until season two to play the dungeons I fucking paid for? It's an exercise in mental gymnastics that I just can't keep up with. Blizzard keeps showing that they don't give a single solitary fuck about what the players actually want. They already pissed everyone off with early access. Expansion still isn't ready and buggy and broken like a Bethesda game. We are essentially playing Beta 2.1 and paying a subscription to do it. Love the story, live the zones....as always they get a Diamond award for their fun quests and stories and general gameplay. But they don't even get a single wooden meal chit for the general performance and decisions they made to too many systems that are just being read as "time gating". They even hid regular flying behind Pathfinder so there is a massive chunk of the community who just simply can't do the expansion because they keep getting physically sick while dragon riding....which you literally NEED to complete literally any zone of TWW. SO BLIZZARD HID THE NOT-SICK FLYING BEHIND FORCED SICK-FLYING. they are just being anti consumer at every step

The time gating made me actually grind renown and max my professions for the first time…. I also did every single quest line that’s available in the new areas… but I’ve actually been having a good time?? Weird
Yeah I took part in EA to avoid the lag and server instability that comes with most launches and it was the smoothest launch I’ve been apart of….. But yes I would like if they decided not to do that again so it doesn’t ruin it for others. I also wish they tuned the mobs better because one shotting everything until 77 was not that engaging for a first play through.
Me too! And as someone who can't play all day and grind it feels good knowing I'm not extremely far behind everyone who has access to play all day. I'm actually a fan of the time gate and I hope they keep doing it that way. Also there is SO much to do...
PS: The Earthen will be available to unlock as of september third in the US and ob the fourth in the EU, along with the required final chapters of the main story campaign
They should honestly see legal issues for essentially false advertising Earthen would be available significantly sooner. Having to hold off on leveling potentially someones main until the 3rd is just disgusting behavior.

Nah. Nothing is MEANT to be taken slow. They just pushed the timegate out like that, thats all... They pushed out a half finished product at this point. No difficould content in sight, u are just meant to come online for the sake of coming online. Those farmable mounts are "easy" to get or atleast to start the questline. But what is good is that I have heared that they put alot of effort into those sidequests though... so thats a positive.
I thought delves were what ever when i first did it but now i actually like them, at first they were eh because they felt like torghast, im talking about running the instance felt similar to running a torghast instance, but i like it now because they feel extra content to do if ur bored or interested in it for fun, it is its own experience with its own monsters, area, and objective than torghast so that is cool, i just love that i can do them for fun or if i feel like it feels like a mini dungeon extra content which i enjoy, better than no content
I've enjoyed the free head space to explore and familiarize myself with vendor locations and new zones. It does feel like maybe a week too long but hey not everyone is chomping at the bit.
Play a different game then unless you’ve already have all your toons at max level, in full pvp gear, max potential ilvl all toons, all toons at maxed professions, renown’s all maxed out, all new achievements cleared, all the new mounts and pets, and cleared all delves on highest possible difficulties? *Season 1 easy guide* 1:Do not do dawnbreaker 2:Do not do Seieg of boralis 3:Do not do City of threads. that's it. there is nothing from there you TRULY need you can't get elsewhere. Do yourself a serious favor. Avoid these 3 like the plague. They are wipe masters. The first two more than anything. The third is quite annoying with it's stupid "find the enemy" stuff. And tanks get lost allot there too. If anything avoid the first two SERIOUSLY.

The spies in City is actually super easy. You can pull the first one with the perfume guy and take a left towards the cliff. There's on spy in the bottom left, one in the top left, and one in the top right near vizier.

@UltimateGamerCC Lol, heroic is not a realistic practice scenario. As a healer I need real damage intakes to get proper practice, so if anything, M0 would be where you practice as soon as you got the gear you "need" from heroics.
I sincerely wish there was some really insane rare chase gear instead of cosmetics. I don't care personally if I'm riding a flying turd versus some shiny mount. I really would like a .00001% chance at some rare item that will remain rare into the future
Not in a rush to do anything. Personally I hate the cyclical nature of seasons. Would much rather prefer having to raid preceding raids to be able to do higher ilvl ones instead of being gifted catch-up gear
Gonna try mythic plus again this expansion and try to get keystone master. I tried in the first season of dragonflight but tapped out at 1000 rating because nobody would let me into groups higher than 10. For this reason I'm also hoping to gear up quickly and maybe find some better class builds (I main DH) maybe even try tanking again. And to those of you saying that I should find a new class that's better for m+, I would rather just not do it rather than level up an alt. I'm here to have fun not do chores.
they should open mythic 0 dungeon this week already, and next week start with mythic + in the heroic dungeons the bosses dying so fast i dont know what abbilities they doing since i played them a lot
Im having so much fun but I really wish WoW had devs that played the game a bit more themselves. Every time someone logs in, guild reputation achievements pop up and every player knows about how annoying this is. Flying still has the pitch bug and everybody knows its there. The problems persist through multiple expansions but they dont get fixed. I cant tell whether they dont know about them or dont care enough, because they acknowledged the AH issues pretty quickly.
i'm not sure how i feel about the heroic dungeon finder changes. even considering the changes to dungeon difficulty between heroic and mythic for this expansion, it seems unnecessarily restrictive to me to take away access to queueing for heroic dungeons that aren't "seasonal" as you said, you can still create a custom group and then run into the dungeon out in the world, basically giving them the mythic treatment, and i don't see a reason for that?
Way too much time gating on everything, Levelling to 80 and getting gear early is way to easy for this amount of time gating. They should of made Mythic0 be in from week 1
Yeah i think a more interesting way to approach opening of expansions, instead of time gating shit, just lock it behind attunements again, make us work for these dungeons and raids by doing a string of quests that some require groups to accomplish and such, i just don't understand why time gate stuff? Because of world first race? Easiest way to fix that problem is every guild that participates in world first race, just give them a server with like three of their main classes fully built to handle the raid when they want to start the race, it's stupid to fix.
The problem with M+ is that you have to rely on others. Which most of the time fails and ends up being a toxic experience. Delves are such a wonderful solution!

It's such a poor decision to have m+ on the 17th September imo. Those players that are waiting for that have been milked one month sub for them to delay it. The mind set of "slow down" and gatekeeping how players should play the game is toxic. Let people play the game how they wish. If they have issues with having to wait this long, then why is their opinion "wrong" in different players playstyles? Imagine it the other way, imagine solo content was timegated this long? Imagine you couldn't do loremaster? Players have a right to express their views, there is no wrong opinion, stop bashing those that have a different opinion/playstyle.

Splitting the dungeons between the seasons is what they did in DF. Mythic+ is a very popular form of endgame and doing the same dungeons all expac just isn't terribly fun.

@UltimateGamerCC M0 earlier would give us more time to get ready for M+ though. This just makes it tighter. M0 are also gonna be on a daily reset now

Mythic 0 being seasonal only seems like a weird choice to me. It’s like giving up free beta testing time for no reason.

Gonna try mythic plus again this expansion and try to get keystone master. I tried in the first season of dragonflight but tapped out at 1000 rating because nobody would let me into groups higher than 10. For this reason I'm also hoping to gear up quickly and maybe find some better class builds (I main DH) maybe even try tanking again. And to those of you saying that I should find a new class that's better for m+, I would rather just not do it rather than level up an alt. I'm here to have fun not do chores.

they should open mythic 0 dungeon this week already, and next week start with mythic + in the heroic dungeons the bosses dying so fast i dont know what abbilities they doing since i played them a lot

Im having so much fun but I really wish WoW had devs that played the game a bit more themselves. Every time someone logs in, guild reputation achievements pop up and every player knows about how annoying this is. Flying still has the pitch bug and everybody knows its there. The problems persist through multiple expansions but they dont get fixed. I cant tell whether they dont know about them or dont care enough, because they acknowledged the AH issues pretty quickly.
i'm not sure how i feel about the heroic dungeon finder changes. even considering the changes to dungeon difficulty between heroic and mythic for this expansion, it seems unnecessarily restrictive to me to take away access to queueing for heroic dungeons that aren't "seasonal"
as you said, you can still create a custom group and then run into the dungeon out in the world, basically giving them the mythic treatment, and i don't see a reason for that?
So happy to see raids and mythics opening up. Not for me, but to clear the elite-jerks out of dungeon finder heroics.

Way too much time gating on everything, Levelling to 80 and getting gear early is way to easy for this amount of time gating. They should of made Mythic0 be in from week 1

Yeah i think a more interesting way to approach opening of expansions, instead of time gating shit, just lock it behind attunements again, make us work for these dungeons and raids by doing a string of quests that some require groups to accomplish and such, i just don't understand why time gate stuff? Because of world first race? Easiest way to fix that problem is every guild that participates in world first race, just give them a server with like three of their main classes fully built to handle the raid when they want to start the race, it's stupid to fix.

The problem with M+ is that you have to rely on others. Which most of the time fails and ends up being a toxic experience. Delves are such a wonderful solution!

Yes tiers go up to tier 3 until season 1 begins but delves drop similar item level gear to heroic dungeons rn

It's such a poor decision to have m+ on the 17th September imo. Those players that are waiting for that have been milked one month sub for them to delay it. The mind set of "slow down" and gatekeeping how players should play the game is toxic. Let people play the game how they wish. If they have issues with having to wait this long, then why is their opinion "wrong" in different players playstyles? Imagine it the other way, imagine solo content was timegated this long? Imagine you couldn't do loremaster? Players have a right to express their views, there is no wrong opinion, stop bashing those that have a different opinion/playstyle.

Pro tipp: never play on release. Play when seasons and expansions end. Thats the only time you‘re allowed real progress.

They made leveling the fastest its ever been then timegated everything to the nth degree. If you bought early access you dont get to step foot into a mplus for 27 days. It's a joke.
The funny thing is that u many (like myself) got the early acces version bcause they included 30 days of gametime.
I keep saying that they pushed it out so far bcause they want us to have to sub for another month to see how the saison feels and if we want to stay...
I levelled just by questing and it was in the 8-12 hour range like it normally is. Levelling was only crazy fast because of dungeon spam.

Splitting the dungeons between the seasons is what they did in DF. Mythic+ is a very popular form of endgame and doing the same dungeons all expac just isn't terribly fun.
@UltimateGamerCC that's called time gating. They could have also done it the other way, put all 8 up at the start so people can see all the dungeons they paid for instead of having to wait until the end of the expansion.
