      ‘Benignent’ and its adverbial form ‘benignently’ are also words though not as commonly used.

      @@sunshineflyer it’s an old-fashioned term not much used today. Coincidentally, I just came across it today while reading an old book: The Bishop’s Secret by Fergus Hume-the first I’ve come across it for a while.
