I am surprised this film tanked. It had all ingredients for success. And honestly, who can fault Kumar Gaurav’s acting here. He is excellent. His voice perfect. Like a dream. Given what we are learning about Bollywood these days, maybe the cabal was already in place then to make sure his films tanked. Poor Rajendra Kumar’s ventures were no match for the might of RK studios and their clout and hatred. I still think what a waste-so much handsome talent remained unrecognized and unfairly went down in history as a flop. Whereas, objectively, he is far far from a bad actor. To me Kumar Gaurav is still the best actor ever.
