In Genesis, Isaac is named like that after the laughter of Sarah, because Isaac is supposed to mean "Laugh".
I mean as a Muslim we don't accept or take as truth what is in the Bible unless it agrees with our sources. But something interesting that came to mind is Ishaq and Ithhaq (Laugh) are very similar in Arabic.

@@dodosback In Hebrew, Ishaq or Yitzhak means laughter. So the biblical story is not too far fetched I guess.
