    Now that you mention the Grysk, it’s possible they will emerge in Skeleton Crew. If that’s the case, the Anti Hero theory of Thrawn would play out. He and the Chiss, partnered with the Mandalorians would be handling that threat in the outer rim / unknown regions. Which is a breath of fresh air in Star Wars

    I’m starting to notice a thread possibility this season which, if I’m right, is a very gutsy and possibly genius story telling move on Fav-loni’s part, especially going forward.
    They could use the Dins as our view into major Galactic events from the viewpoint, not of the “main” character (Bo, Ahsoka, the Skywalkers, etc.) but rather from the eyes of a pair of extremely competent “support” characters who come in, help the “heroes” resolve their conflict, and then ride off into the sunset and the next adventure.
    That way they can “cross paths” with, say, Sabine or Boba, or even Po or Ray, help them, and move on.
    In season four of “their” show I can see them taking various missions that lead to them uncovering information leading up to the Thrawn movie. They will also come across things needed for their own growth like a Holicron for Grogu’s training as an example.
    I see them being to the Mandoverse what R2 & 3P0 were to the Skywalker Saga: the eyes through which the shows are shown.
    The possibilities are endless.

      @Dana White's Cocaine Dealer It seems like OP's saying "not a main character" as "not directly involved in main storyline events." Obviously, The Mandalorian is about Djarin and Grogu so they're the main characters of that show. However, they're not really Main Characters of the Skywalker saga timeline as a whole.

    If Gideon has a clone that survived, it won’t be one with a a connection to the force. It’ll just be an advanced form of Gideon. The clones on Mandalore were his force clones. Which is why he reacted to their demise in the way he did.

    My thoughts on the name Din Grogu is it's like saying "son of". Just like how we got the the last names of Johnson, meaning Johns son, and so on. So by calling him Din Grogu they are implying son of Din.

    • @ashenbreese
      @ashenbreese ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i thought it might be that the name came from din djarin's family who got killed in the clone wars. he kept his original family's name (and structure) but became a mandalorian (which is both a culture unto itself and a collection of many other cultures).

    • @chrisdupont1195
      @chrisdupont1195 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It also may not be a name at all, but a title indicating that he's a foundling. Am I the only one that noticed Axe Woves knew he had no Mandalorian blood without knowing anything about him? Or did that come up in season 2 and I'm forgetting?

    • @cameronliddell9533
      @cameronliddell9533 ปีที่แล้ว

      your very close but after looking into it din is actually arabic for faith/religion/CREED. so din djarin (taking after chinese practice of generational name first) is actually djarin of the creed as the dont get the din moniker till AFTER they have taken the creed. Grogu was adopted by din so automatically gets the din moniker as an apprentice (which is what a mandalorian becomes AFTER taking the creed). Like Paz's son is now an apprentice mandalorian

    • @jameslewis7717

They can't just say he is, they need to show he is to build a real sense of threat and danger. We've heard the whispers in the Mandalorian, we now need the demonstration. Personally, I would love to see a spin off where Bo becomes the lead and starts a quest for bringing the tribes together. It could be an interesting story as some tribes would want to dual and others maybe want political power. The cast could also start small, say with just Bo and one form each of the tribes (new or returning) and could easily grow from there. Honestly, I believe Star Wars is at its best when it is told like a TTRPG, like Rebels, with Ezra being a new player and not knowing anything.

    I really enjoyed season 3, best one for me out of all of them. It’s made me start to get obsessed with Star Wars, I never used to be. I think Bo Katan replacing Cara Dune was a big improvement and watching Grogu getting good with the force.

    It was said in the Shadow Council that if they show too much power, it'd trigger more focus on the possibility of them returning. Gideon faked his death with a clone of the chambers that DIDN'T YET have force powers. If they did, Grogu would've felt it. He didn't. Gideon & Kane have another location using Dr. Pershing to utilize his clone research to fine tune a force sensitive clone. Gideon didn't think that the Mandalorians would ever join, BUT evil always has a backup plan. My thoughts anyways.

      I think Gideon sacrificed himself precisely to throw them off his trail. It would make sense that they finish him and a clone or two in a movie once and for all imo

    Din could still totally be He's first name. In some cultures children take the name of their fathers/mothers in combination with theirs. In our berber culture we would for example have Hassan ibn Ali, translated, Hassan son of Ali. It could totally be possible that in mandalorian culture that would be reversed, Din father of Grogu

    Can you make a video about the possibility to a second droid army and new war coming into the mix. I feel like the return of battle droids, the status of how droids are not just simple machines, the fact that they brought up the new "Ancient order of independent regions", is a bit of a nod that we might be seeing a second clone was but without the clones with the outer rim vs the empire and maybe the grysk.

    Back to basics is best since folks can't handle a little change, loved this seasons vibe.

    Din Grogu still needs to finish his Jedi training, even if he was there for a year.

    Image Grogu and Ezra are also a dyad in the force and it becomes the role of Super Saiyan, which even though it’s “unseen for generations” or “one in 10,000,” everyone is/has one.

    I hate how it's now called the "grisk"
    When we all know the real threat is the Yu Zong Vong.

    I want to see how grogu went from being saved to separated from the Jedi that saved him. If they knew how strong he was, they would have given him special protection but somehow he ended up under the protection of no Jedi.

      Luck of the draw, even Yoda the most farseeing jedi couldn't predict order 66.

    This is kind of a weird take and I know her backstory is kind of fleshed out in the literature but could there be a connection to Captain Phasma and her silver armor and the Mandalorians? Like we discover she was a foundling or something of that genre that helps further the link between trilogies?

    The end of this season felt more like the end of A New Hope than anything else, I think next season will be darker and Thrawn will end up being the big bad of an arc that's like a Mandalorian version of The Empire Strikes Back. Following the western trope of having the gunfighter wanting peace and being drawn back in, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a couple of episodic missions and by the end of the season the two of them are on the anti-Thrawn train.
