- Alisha "Baby Talk" (Original Album Version) 1985 **VERY RARE & UN-REMIXED**. This is the original album version, and is extremely rare to find, as the Shep Pettibone Remix of "Baby Talk" is the version most readily available.

Just saw Alisha sing a couple of her hits at a Fundraiser- She was FANTASTIC- got to dance with her while she was singing...very cool....great memories...class act
99% of the time I like the 12" remixes better than the original LP version. This fell in to that 1% of the time when I like the original LP version better. Thanks for posting.
+swerzer Noooo, the Shep Pettibone Remixes of Baby Talk are far far better (from another league even) They are a classy in Dancehall and Radio too
Awesome! Love this version so much more that the others. Thanks so much for sharing - this truly made my night! :)
Those 2 people who disliked this song must be very ignorant and stupidly annoying! This is a grreat song with a great beat, great tune and with a great message! Hey you disliking guys, the next time u stumble upon any good song and u feel u dont like it or u hate it, u better not say so. There are some things better yet to keep to yourselves especially if it doesn't make a big deal out of you, ok? We have to promote good classic music of any kind of genre.
smooth like butter...
I just want to be 19 years old all over again. Great times.
thanks so much, hailing from the bahamas!!
Superb music: never stop listening it!!!
Great song and great message for everyone to follow. This was in a Moonlighting episode.
Wow...This really brings me back im from the late 60`ts
The 80 s were fun for music best decade ever
With all this being said about Alisha's Baby Talk original version. Well i don't know how many ppl realized thsi is the very same version on the cassete and the l.p. LoL !!!! But who can remeber in Marlboro,MA of what used to ve the vidoe network V66 used to play the vidoe like crazy. So Alish has a history in the Boston area as well as N.Y. and N.J. but can some help me out. Back in the 80's again on a radio station Kiss108
fm Medford /Boston used to play a very special remix of Too Turned On
This is really good! I love the beginning. I kinda wish it was instrumental though.
Its the Same Undergroundmusic from Madonna into the groove
and it was not the X-Mix or any ameture Remixer who done this recently but there was a particular remix that had a weired sound effect with more handclaps in the background. I remember this mix the Saturday Night Club Kixx used to play this to death. I really thought it was available commercially but it never was such. Lol ! Who can find this and post it on TH-cam please ???It kind sounded like the Dub Version but was enhanced with the one sounded effect that sounded like Bye Bye Bye Bye! LOL

Yeah c'est cool ça !
The people who disliked this song must be no fun, but I can't judge if I don't know a person
Very similar backing track as Madonna's fab Into the Groove from the same year,
but I guess no surprise really! Both great dance songs from the same era!
excellent
"GET INTO THE GROOVE", Madonna ripped off the beginning, the baseline. Never noticed it back in 1986.
It’s the other way around, actually
This is Madonna ?
@@allanbaagefeldt2320 nope, Baby Talk is by Alisha and Into the Groove by Madonna. Different songs, similar bassline. :)
✨I think Jellybean [still got a FunHouse T *sigh* :) ] produced both?
I probably was too young for her back then maybe. I could do some baby talk with her maybe if I wasn't too shy when I was younger. I love the Latinas the are totally awesome singers.
I don't think she's Latina bro
Alisha is Italian
🎶❤️ Freestyle Roots right here :) First time I heard her hook, sounded like Madonna.
"And you can dance for inspiration, get into the gro"...
what? it's not a remix of "get into the groove?" just kidding :)
I remember this song when I was in Jr High.
me too, bro...
