Lefty being the blob makes MUCH more sense than Funtime Freddy! The way you described the cycle of capturing, absorb it, take it, and extract really chills of the idea of how Lefty is waiting for the burn that can never happen because Henry is gone. This was such a good way FNAF could’ve gone! And it would explain why it got Burntrap too.
Actually, it DOES make sense for Funtime Freddy's head to be on the Blob since he has something that only one other animatronic has: voice mimicry. You see, it's possible that the Blob is actually the main vessel for Glitchtrap, and so they got the Funtime Freddy head to mimic Afton's voice.
always felt like the puppet missing its tear marks on the blob is intentional. i think that's something that'd be reeeeally hard for steelwool to forget to add
I believe that the Marionette on the Pile was from Help Wanted 1, so its tears not being there make sense to me. Possibly that all the spirits from 1-U.C.N are gone.
Imo the tears arent there because charlie is no longer sad, shes angry that her dad trapped her in lefty and tried to burn her 🤷♀️ possibly but thats just a theory A GA......
This idea would've also made the Blob stealing burntrap more interesting, since it goes beyond petty revenge. It's absorbed Afton. Fused whats left of him into itself. THAT could have been really cool
My favorite puppet related thing in the entire series is that one FNaF 3 camera. That's the REAL puppet, in the ACTUAL Fazbear's Fright. It's so haunting just floating there. If only it wasn't too late in the series for it to be satisfying to see the Puppet just... hanging out. I'd love to have the Puppet as a threat in a game in a way that is just as haunting as that screen.
His full role in FNaF 2 was one of the most sudden jumpscares in the game, very little buildup and really doesn't match his characterization during FNaF 3 and the FNaF 2 end of night minigames, I really like his approach in the FNaF 2 level of the VR game which almost hits the mark for what I want, but I would like to see something similar again in a different game that isn't just a FNaF 2 recap game.
Agreed I love that cameo. Only issue is, is that we aren't sure if it is a hallucination or not, as even tho we see a reflection on the floor, a real puppet mask can be seen in the right side of the camera hanged on the wall, with tears, so unless if there is 2 masks, i wouldnt be sure if it is real?
@@ilikepigeons6101 It's likely real. Unless Henry or someone rebuilt the Puppet after 3, let them loose, just for Henry to capture them in less than a year after...
@@ilikepigeons6101 Spares of some sort, or a literal mask for decoration/wearing? Are you suggesting the Puppet was... destroyed sometime between 1 and 3, body (and whatever's underneath) COMPLETELY remade by someone we dont see after 3 occurs, and let loose on the streets for Henry to capture them less than a year later? Because the Puppet in Lefty is 100% real, of course. It just makes significantly more sense if that's just The Puppet, that's still intact from 1, and it left the building before the fire harmed it, to then roam free til Lefty captured and dragged it to the FNAF 6 location. It definitely SEEMS more real than any other hallucinations as well, at least...
Lefty is one of my favorite animatronics in the series due to its lore in game, and also I loved their introduction in their game being like five dollars in store (I vividly remember Markiplier’s reaction, with him laughing and immediately buying it). Still wish I had a Lefty plush!
That whole "C-virus" thing makes me think it would have been interesting if Charlie was the the one influencing Vanessa. Vanessa does seem to alternate between "hunting" Gregory and "protecting" him, and Charlie promising to "fix" things is a much better explanation for the company covering things up than... was there ever an explanation for why they were covering up for the dead serial killer who was constantly costing them millions of dollars for no benefit?
I like the idea that there’s a charlie virus hanging out in the pizzaplex and subtly influencing things. Especially if it’s revealed she’s in opposition to glitchtrap. It continues her narrative in a cool way without actually bringing back yet ANOTHER old character. She’d be protecting people from Afton’s influence as always, trying to break Vanessa (and maybe Gregory after GGY 🙄) out of his control
@@flynnleaI had a similar idea that Cassidy somehow stayed behind as the princess from Princess Quest and she was behind freeing GGY Gregory and Vanessa from Glitchtrap's influence, but I'll also accept Charlie as the alternative. Imagine Charlie returns as Nigjtmarionne, reunites with Cassidy, and they team up with Gregory and beat the shit out of Glitchtrap in both the physical and the digital realms somewhere in the future games. That'd be one heck of an ending
That's an interesting direction they could have taken. Fits with the more Sci-Fi direction the story is taking, now that it is not Charlie the spirit but basically a machine on a continuous loop. I do believe that SteelWool studio has is own backstory with The Blob, but either they are keeping it for later or was lost on the cutting room floor.
I love the idea of Lefty itself being in control of the Blob WITHOUT the puppet being part of it. This now purposeless robot going insane with only memory fragments to guide it. All it knows is that the Puppet had a soul and now it wants one too so it tries to make one by collecting what little remnant remains in the burned husks of the animatronic shells. Not just an amalgamation of animatronics but also trying to build a full soul from little pieces of remnant. Maybe that's why it would try to attack Gregory before settling on Burntrap there is no personal vendetta they were just targets of convenience for this unwieldy monster.
There are actually way more Nightmarrione plushies throughout the pizzaplex than the two you mentioned. There’s too many to list here but the channel FuhNaff has a video about it, they’re seriously everywhere. And according to the Pizza Sim cutscene, the Puppet lacking tears implies it is not possessed by Charlie anymore, so I do think she or at least some version of her is at play and will be delved further into in the dlc. Also, the Blob having Lefty’s face would’ve made the scene where the head screeches and attacks Afton a lot more compelling. Golden Freddy’s head also would’ve worked
There were, but many of them can't be seen unless you break out of bounds, and at that point it wasn't really supporting my cause. Also, God, I am so tired of people telling me about FuhNaff. He's officially the new Matpat now.
Looking back at this theory with the "Burntrap was the Mimic all along" angle that was built up everywhere BUT the main games, the parallels are top notch. The broken husk that once contained a dead human is kidnapping the broken husk that once contained a *different* dead human, both of them acting as they do because their original purposes have been twisted into something barely recognizable by outside circumstances.
For a long while I didn’t realize that LEFTE was a sort of entity of it's own, I just assumed that it was an empty, inhibiting vessel Henry made to trap the marionette to stop it from making more living animatronics. I thought LEFTE was kind of controlled by the puppet but seeing this changed my thinking. This along with LEFTE's voice lines in UCN being different from the marionette's makes much more sense now. But is this just programming, or did Henry use remnant? If the latter does that imply he *killed* someone?? I would love to hear feedback on this
I think it wouldn't necessarily mean it used remnant from the beginning, but, taking into account that even if an animatronic is possessed it still follows its coding to some extent (for example, in fnaf 3 it's said that suits animatronics are designed to follow sound, which is why the audio lures work on Springtrap), Lefty would've mixed with the Puppet's remnant and, having both the coding of security from Puppet and of luring and collecting other animatronics from Lefty itself, it would've been kept alive by the Puppet's remnant and still unable to resist both of the codes: if it senses there's an animatronic or an animatronic part with remnant attached (a soul), it would lure it and collect it to protect. It would even explain Burntrap; even if the soul it found was that of Afton, it couldn't help follow Lefty's code and it just attracted it and kept it alive. This would also generate some conflict in the Pizzaplex, as the Puppet's desires would be to control the Pizzaplex and their animatronics to protect them but unwillingly it let Burntrap infect it and it is now using it against the Puppet, acting as a virus in the animatronics and making them violent. Lefty would've made so much sense fr 😭
@@Quaxophone It can be spelled both ways. The actual acronym used in the blueprints is L.E.F.T.E. (Lure, Encapsulate, Fuse, Transport, Extract), while the animatronic's "name" is Lefty.
At this point, you should just rewrite the entirety of the FNAF franchise at this point. I'm not asking for much in this weird series of Evil Viruses, robot children, and killer robots.... Just that I'm actually rewarded for paying attention, and that I actually FEEL emotions for the characters and scenarios presented.
I think that canon as established in the first three games and The Silver Eyes should stay. (I’m not entirely convinced that the weird swerves with William didn’t happen because people were making the (fairly logical, based off of statistics) assumption that the Purple Guy was a pedo in addition to a murderer, though thinking on it I don’t actually remember that much theorizing or discussion of motives, because it was better without those. I feel like this could have been resolved by The Silver Eyes revealing that the Purple Guy was a woman the whole time, but I guess by that time either Sister Location was planned or they didn’t want to imply the possibility of yandere-y interpretations of the events, or that Purple Woman was possibly Charlie’s mother. I am still thinking about making a little AU version of The Silver Eyes, with minimal changes as it’d just be making William a woman- the name “Violet” is perfect, referencing both the color purple, and only being one letter off from “violent”)
I love this woman so much. She plays the games, gathers all the info, then goes "Foolish mortals! Bend your knees and bow as I spin my tales of what you clearly SHOULD HAVE DONE."
I just like the idea of it wanting to "contain" every remaining animatronic so it just collects them as best it can. This would explain why it grabs burntrap at the end and is just a cool motive.
I'm not a FNaF fan by any means, but I like keeping tabs on the overall story and the like. I've been watching all your videos and I've been enjoying them a lot. You've got a great presentation style and your attention to detail is really great. Keep up the good work!
It's always so weird to me just how little lefty means in the overall franchise. Like such a unique new concept that certain merch companies loved heh heh. But then it just exist as puppet trap isn't even that big of a focus of the game its in with the big thing everyone probably remembers it for being the fact that they bought it for 5 bucks and then we're killed by it ( Or because it's snuck into their building somehow cause I swear leftys like the default for that) and then nothing else has it, help wanted no, AR almost did but no, hell not even many sb Easter eggs. Like damn
See this is the type of direction that I felt security breach theories should be going into, because so much of it now relies on the advanced tech working too well, you’re lefty idea being just that, a machine with a purpose and goal left unfinished trying to finish it itself
I definitely agree! It still plays into the core of Fnaf, which are those haunted animatronic. Raw, broken, malfunctioning. Sometimes it's the rusty swing set that invokes more feelings than the post-modern statue.
@@notrealnamenotatall2476 exactly! It just paints a more clear picture than having to continually backtrack making insane reaches for how A is now actually square when they weren’t to begin with
Puppet always felt like they should have more involvement in the games as a whole, theyre as stubborn as william afton and basically his anthithesis. Set up as this intelligent and intimidating figure, it never made sense to me that they got shafted so hard. This would have been a much better way to reveal the blob to me. Having it intervening with William STILL after all these years just feels right, theyre locked in combat.
It just occurred to me, most of the staff bots we see in the game (granted, we're there after closing hours) are working effectively as security cameras. As in, they are security "personal." Fnaf 6 suggests the Puppet to be some kind of security robot, the "Security Puppet." As much nothing as it might be, it still seems so obvious a through-line in hindsight.
Honestly it feels like this was exactly what they wanted to build up to but they changed it last second, only I can’t imagine *why* they would’ve changed it. This would’ve been so, so perfect but as always, Steel Wool fumbled it at the last second.
I know it's been a year, but the name Tangle would make sense for the Lefty blob because the real Charlie would have made Fnaf World where Tangle is an enemy, showing Lefty blob's antagonistic roll. The Lefty blob would be the agony of Charlie and Lefty's programing melded into one, twisting Charlie's original role as a shepherd, guiding souls to help them rest, into a zookeeper, forcing animatronics into her so she can "protect" them.
I do agree that this really should have been the big reveal. It also would make sense as to why after Freddy and Gregory run off, that the Blob spots Afton and instantly becomes incensed with him, quickly attacking him and dragging him off.
You write a much better story than Steel Wool! I love this idea. What a missed chance, like most of SB was. The number of random OCs that could have been something meaningful that they keep sticking into the story is just sad.
This was, well, I can’t quite articulate it. Going in I was skeptical, but after listening to the whole video I’m left a bit stunned. Very well made, for one, and offering a lot of food for thought. With all the new Charlie theories floating around incorporating some of your arguments this feels especially close and accurate to what the OG intention for the Blob may have been. I guess we’ll never truly know for sure, but it’s fun to think about what could’ve been, even if it’s still a somewhat disappointing in the end. Props for bringing something so unique but thought-provoking to the table. Can’t wait for the next video^^!
I think the Puppet/Charlie is or will be in the game. With how much the character is referenced in sheer numbers alone I would be surprised if the Puppet or Nightmarionne doesnt make some sort of in-person appearance in Ruin.
NotRealName NotAtAll is singlehadedly building back up with lost pieces what this amazing story was building up to. But alas: it is just that, the things we never got
I think the reason the puppet mask in the blob doesn't have tear marks is because Charlie was put to rest by Henry. Think about it: before Charlie possessed the puppet, it didn't have tear marks. But after she possesses it, it gets the tears.
@@notrealnamenotatall2476 While that may be true, not having the tears there would be a pretty hard thing to miss given that it is an iconic part of the Puppets design. The fact that without a soul the puppet has no tears makes it seem like a more intentional decision for lore reasons.
Would have been even better if the head was split 50/50 Funtime Freddy and Lefty mask, a weird husk of conflictive minds having absolutely no clue of what they should do or what they even are.
This is genuinely such an amazing idea... like, genuinely it would be so much better and I'm amazed someone could think of something that fixes so many little thing in one movie. Very well thought-out video, incredible job as always:)
Lefty being the blob would've just made SO MUCH MORE SENSE in the story. Not to mention the convince as we wouldn't even really need much more explanation to know why they are the way they are/what their motivation is because of past context. Futhermore, the fact that they're not the blob/are absent entirely in Security Breach and AR is really disappointing cuz they're such a cool character and I really like them a lot. A lot of wasted potential there, in my opinion, and it doesn't bode well for any inclusion of them in the future :/
the puppet has always felt like wasted potential to me, ever since her introduction in fnaf2 like she was gonna be the Big Secret Behind Everything and then basically got immediately dismissed in fnaf3. personally though all the 'ooooh puppet is evil charlie in control of everything oooooh' stuff just kinda makes me bummed out, because like. i love seeing the puppet as a potential hero in this whole convoluted mess of a story. so many characters are morally grey at best and child serial murderers at worst, that i just want her to be the ONE source of justified rage that you can root for the whole time. like as in, this is a child who was murdered and knows her killer is still out there and will NOT rest until she knows her killer can't kill any more kids. i mean i guess i was glad she was included in fnaf6 and acknowledged after being absent for like 3 games? but i always wanted there to be a moment where she gets what's coming to her, but in like, a good way. a moment where she gets to shine by utterly destroying william afton (or at least the current iteration of him, because we know he's always gonna come back.) so yeah, lefty as the blob would have a huge emotional impact to me, but like a super sad one? like NOOO NOT MY GIRL. NOT THE ONE WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE HERO HERE. WHY HER??? SHE DESERVED SO MUCH BETTER THAN THIS. -cries- ... yeah.
To be honest. My headcanon/theory is that the blob is henry himself. Brought back by his anger for his plan failing and afton being alive still. His agony and such accumulating
@@notrealnamenotatall2476 I remember seeing that video! I'm just glad im not the only one who thinks it. Especially since Henry barely got any character in the games (mostly in the books. Bit they're basically two different characters) And I dislike the mimic theory since oh boy, another new character that means nothing when characters we already have barely have any character to begin with
My gosh, your analysis on Lefty is incredible. I never REALLY thought too hard about Lefty until I saw your vids. Now I’m incredibly intrigued about the character and their role in the franchise, or lack or role I mean.
Honestly, in my opinion, I think it was a good choice to make Funtime Freddy the blob, but lefty should be in the blob, and they Lefty you just don’t see them
Lefty being the Blob makes a lot of sense, as does FuhNaff's newest theory about Baby being a Charlie bot, except with evidence that the program was removed by Mike and that's why Elizabeth takes over by FNAF six. Baby can pretend, and you retrieve the little chip that mimics from Baby's insides. Baby also talks like Elizabeth is a separate being inside of her in Sister Location, but acts like she is Elizabeth in Pizza Sim. When they scan the program into VR, the game based on Afton's crimes merges with the original Charlie program, which is why Glitchtrap starts as green but gradually becomes more William dominated. Edwin, a book stand in for Henry, cries and drools on the mimic as he bashes it in rage, teaching it violence, akin to the Charlie bot in the trilogy, and akin to Glitchtrap's own tears and drool. The waving and head tilt is like Trilogy Charlie's toy rabbit that Henry built for her, and the purple eyes and vest is from the Afton side of the mimicry. Baby and the Mimic both can mimic voices, likely how Gregory is speaking to Cassie and how Ennard tries to lure Mike in the non canon final night of Sister Location. Yes, all the Funtimes had lures to capture kids, but if William stole Baby from Henry, then copied and edited the program for the other Futnimes to be more nefarious than a mimicking plaything, it would make sense that his egomaniacal self would take credit for them if Henry was the main engineer for most of the animatronics beforehand. Baby also has Charlie's color hair in the extras menu in Sister Location, showing beta designs that matched the books versions of Funtime Freddy without BonBon and a blueish Funtime Foxy. Scott did say a year after Sister Location that people were getting something wrong, and he said he'd let it torture the fan base since we couldn't get it.
GOD this is such a cool idea !! i hope they somehow retcon this in, because this is so stunning. the phrase “wait to be burned” is chilling as well !! well done, this makes so much sense
unfortunately you couldn't be more correct with this. Its shame security breach was such a let down, its also good to see not everyone is biased to the franchise, im a huge fan but i can see its super flawed. and nobody talks about that so thank you
As someone who plans to do a rewrite of the entire series (as well as the changes I'd make to gameplay/visuals), I'd love to see your take on a rewrite of the series as a whole because you have such cool ideas that tend to tie things together really nicely:)
It's definitely tragic that security breach being so unfinished just fucked up the whooole timeline, before lt felt like we were bordering on understanding and completing this, now? We are 1 year after the release still trying to understand what the basic plot of that game *is*
2:09 that shoe could be a reference to the parts and service freddy mini game in Help Wanted or it could actually be referencing Cassie since in the teaser image her shoes are very colourful.
I've gotta say that I absolutely LOVE your justification for this take on the basis of it taking some little visual details into account, that's SO cool. Also if this is how things could've gone Lefty's UCN line of "now I will never let you go" would be some INCREDIBLE foreshadowing given what the the blob does to burntrap in the burn ending
Notrealname coming in with another video creating some of the best character ideas in the game, like serious this was amazing I wish they'd hire you to be on the team you would be a vital member. Also I liked the emphasis on like not theorizing about things too deep because sometimes happy accidents happen
That... no. That doesn't even make any sense from a story perspective. XD Why would after try to rebuild Charlie into something that looks nothing like her, for Henry?
And then literally just swap the white tiger for a black bear! There's like two characters it could be, but given Charlie never meets nightmare, it's not even confusing to logically say "oh, that's supposed to be lefty"
This would’ve been an amazing plot twist! This can also add to those missing parts of the classics animatronics in museum in Rockstar Row. The way you paint the narrative and connect the points into a story is so enriching. Singlehandledly convinced me for more of Charlie/Lefty’s inclusion in modern games fr fr Love your videos sm
I admit, this theory is one of the best modern FNAF theories I've seen. I never thought even to question the existance of the Blob, and linking it to the Funtime Service makes incredible sense. I do have some takes however which I'd like to share. I think the "C Virus" and the puppet references in the Pizzaplex are connected. I think the "C Virus" is a Charlie virus. My current idea of it being that Henry tried to recreate Charilie once she died, and William stole the model and everything linked to it. Then, he reprogramed for the killing purpose and created Circus Baby. Once eventually Elizabeth died inside Baby, there were almost two "souls" the virus, and Elizabeth, which would make sense by what we see in Sister Location, where Baby references herself as if she were someone else: "You came here to find her, didn't you?". Compared to Pizzaria Simulator where she talks as if she were Elizabeth: "I will make you proud daddy!" Therefore, you plugged the chip Circus Baby gave you in the end of Sister Location to your handheld device, which roamed free until it found itself in the Pizzaplex. I think that who is controlling the Pizzaplex is the Charlie Virus, that is the Mimic AI. Here I find important to note that the Mimic AI has two forms/versions. One of them is less advanced, only being programed to tear people's limbs off, and the other is more sophisticated, being the one who is pulling the strings (Helpi/Charlie Virus). The fact that Helpi is the Charlie Virus makes sense since in Help Wanted 2, that comes after SB but before Ruin, we plug a chip into Helpy's head that looks suspiciously close to the one in SL. So back to Lefty, I believe it was burned back in the Fnaf 6 fire, with everything else. The franchise then would be obscured until found in the hands of Clara Afton, who adopted Vanessa through some sort of brain washing or mind control, and created the Funtime Service to extract remnant from children and eventually bring the family back together. I do not see any need of Lefty being in this project, though it would explain the puppet mask in the Blob, but since we did not see this, we shouldn't jump to conclusions though because by that logic, we didn't see Lefty burning in the Pizza Sim fire. Following all of this... I have absolutly no idea. I think Lefty being the Blob makes perfect sense to complete it's story arc, but the puppet seems in control of itself in most games of the series so unless the puppet simply isn't in control I don't think it would make any sense (though that is a very real option). Considering that Lefty died in the Pizzaria Simulator fire, I think that the only way this would be possible is through a recreation in the Funtime Service, (that it isn't in) which I find a waste of a character since it has such a cool design and story behind it. By this, I'm trying to deduce why there is a puppet mask in the Blob, but I don't have a real answer to it. Anyway, thank you for such a interesting video! (My ideas are mostly based on John FuhNaff and Matpat btw)
OK you should have been the person to direct security breach, not only would it make sense but to see that the blob is the true villain would be so cool
So this is a random hot-take but I genuinely believe funtime freddy's face is used ENTIRELY because it splits four ways in a menacing predatory way. I think the 'blob' itself exists because Cassidy-and or whoever else is in golden freddy, would not let the others move on. I think they dragged everyone through the fire, they want to keep tormenting William Afton. If that is the case, if UCN is cannon, perhaps it was their interference that stopped everyone, puppet included, from moving on in the fire and maybe caused them to fuse? Not sure how to logic leap that but it could be an alternative idea for them.
Wonderful concept! It could have been such a fascinating story! And the tragedy of Charlie, or what remains of her,, one of the William's victims, Henry's child whom he wanted to free, the one who gave the others 'gifts', who wanted to help, being the one to continue the cycle, would have been SO devastating!
I just thought of something, steel wool should definitely make a 3d free roam version of ultimate custom night and give it a much bigger story like how William got their and how he returned as glitchtrap, and it shows him Being psychologically tortured by golden Freddy using his thoughts and memories against him while avoiding animatronics from his past and maybe learning more about him.
@@azimuddin1890 if someone believes William did not escaped Cassidy's hell and becomes a glitch then rebuilded then I'm accepting that i believed mimic and William Afton Are *SAME* person
@@Noooooooddddleeess I don’t think that makes sense narratively. The point of the Mimic1 (with this theory) is that its copying Aubergine Man. What’s the point of they’re possessing the same thing? It might as well be it’s Aubergine Man. So I believe it’s just Mimic1.
Honestly, if they did go with a Lefty head... they could've scrapped Burntrap and even leave Afton's(sadly inevitable) return to a later game. With the fuse aspect, what if during a fuse the killer instincts of an animatronic wasn't neutralized? Instead the A.I. of Lefty now having the command to find children and kill them. That's why no one can figure out what causes the Animatronics to malfunction, why adults are left alone while children are targeted(harkening back to the trailer of 'none of them will stop chasing you'). The reason is because one of their own animatronics has gone completely rogue and has, over time, fused it's A.I. to the others. There wouldn't be an obvious answer because, most likely, this was all done out of greed and thus no one is aware of Lefty's actual purpose. Perhaps it still plays out similarly and you have to destroy the animatronics, or perhaps in this case you and Vanessa team up. You acting as a lure to show where the Lefty Hivemind has inserted itself while Vanessa purges it and closes them (perhaps forcing them all into the same mode Freddy is in during the game). Thus ironically making the company's bad choice into the perfect choice for a night guard. Since rather than protecting against human invaders, she would be protecting against animatronic invaders(which she has the skills to counter).
Don't mind me, I'm just going to hold on to this and pretend it's Canon until ruin comes out and introduces five new characters answers no questions and whose secret hidden content hints to a new question, but never a real answer, because we all know that Scott has been trying to end this series since five nights at Freddy's 3, but every time he makes a new game people point at a flaw it has and so he makes an entirely new game complicating things far more than they should have been because he doesn't actually have any real answers, and just wants people to look at his empty box and applaud.
The Nightmarionne plushie isn't a mistake. In Help Wanted, Nightmarionne takes the place of NIGHTMARE. Just like how Funtime Freddy takes the place of Nightmare Chica/Bonnie, and Circus Baby walks around the room.
I believe it IS lefty controlling The Blob. I think Steel Wool used Funtime Freddy’s head just to throw us all off. If so, it has worked spectacularly!
honestly i don't think it's right to point at these massively prevalent wires all around the pizzaplex that look identical to the puppet's arms and just brush it off. especially after the tales from the pizzaplex story described wires running all through the pizzaplex that control the whole building.
The Amalgamation (the blob is not an official name stated in the FNAF Encyclopedia) should be not The Puppet/Charlie Emily because the mixture of animatronics is made from the Fazbear Funtime Service, it carries the souls of people Vanny's victims that she kills to collect more remnant.
Actually, isn't Funtime Foxy has the voice mimicry. Plus, the Blob doesn't speak.

@@higueraft571 why the 2nd mask then on the wall in the same room where the puppet appears?
Same, I really wish Lefty would've been in fnaf ar and sb, or just more involvement in general
This... Would literally have been perfect from a story standpoint. Plus, we would've had the illusion of Scott playing 4D chess this entire time.
Lefty being the blob is a REALLY cool concept that I now wish had been fleshed out in canon.
Bro this comment makes me so sad that it isnt cannon lmao

The Mimic having learned its violence from William and Lefty following a looping set of orders from Henry would've been perfect parallels
I would love to hear feedback on this
I too love LEFTEH
Lefty*
@@cadencase5216 I’ve seen in the acronym that the last ‘E’ stands for ‘extract’, is that not how it’s spelled? I’ve seen people spell it both ways

It's clear there wasn't much of a plan, and what plans they had changes to invalidate theories.
@@andrewgreeb916 right
I think that canon as established in the first three games and The Silver Eyes should stay.

That puppet controlling vanny theory falls apart when you "why would the puppet who trys to save kids be kidnapping and killing them"
I don't remember anyone saying that the puppet was controlling vanny
It's always so weird to me just how little lefty means in the overall franchise. Like such a unique new concept that certain merch companies loved heh heh. But then it just exist as puppet trap isn't even that big of a focus of the game its in with the big thing everyone probably remembers it for being the fact that they bought it for 5 bucks and then we're killed by it ( Or because it's snuck into their building somehow cause I swear leftys like the default for that) and then nothing else has it, help wanted no, AR almost did but no, hell not even many sb Easter eggs. Like damn
Always thought it should've been Golden Freddy, but yeah Lefty makes more sense
See this is the type of direction that I felt security breach theories should be going into, because so much of it now relies on the advanced tech working too well, you’re lefty idea being just that, a machine with a purpose and goal left unfinished trying to finish it itself
I definitely agree! It still plays into the core of Fnaf, which are those haunted animatronic. Raw, broken, malfunctioning. Sometimes it's the rusty swing set that invokes more feelings than the post-modern statue.

I wish Scott gave an in universe explanation why the puppet wasn’t at the fnaf 1 location
It just occurred to me, most of the staff bots we see in the game (granted, we're there after closing hours) are working effectively as security cameras. As in, they are security "personal."
Fnaf 6 suggests the Puppet to be some kind of security robot, the "Security Puppet."
As much nothing as it might be, it still seems so obvious a through-line in hindsight.
Honestly it feels like this was exactly what they wanted to build up to but they changed it last second, only I can’t imagine *why* they would’ve changed it. This would’ve been so, so perfect but as always, Steel Wool fumbled it at the last second.
Lefty is Phyrexian confirmed. 😂😂 mans out here corrupting other robots with his glistening oil. Bringing all to be one.
every day i wish that you could join steel wool and become a writer for their games
A horribly disturbing but incredibly cool twist on the formula! I love it!

A lot of wasted potential there, in my opinion, and it doesn't bode well for any inclusion of them in the future :/
the puppet has always felt like wasted potential to me, ever since her introduction in fnaf2 like she was gonna be the Big Secret Behind Everything and then basically got immediately dismissed in fnaf3. personally though all the 'ooooh puppet is evil charlie in control of everything oooooh' stuff just kinda makes me bummed out, because like. i love seeing the puppet as a potential hero in this whole convoluted mess of a story. so many characters are morally grey at best and child serial murderers at worst, that i just want her to be the ONE source of justified rage that you can root for the whole time.
like as in, this is a child who was murdered and knows her killer is still out there and will NOT rest until she knows her killer can't kill any more kids. i mean i guess i was glad she was included in fnaf6 and acknowledged after being absent for like 3 games? but i always wanted there to be a moment where she gets what's coming to her, but in like, a good way. a moment where she gets to shine by utterly destroying william afton (or at least the current iteration of him, because we know he's always gonna come back.)
so yeah, lefty as the blob would have a huge emotional impact to me, but like a super sad one? like NOOO NOT MY GIRL. NOT THE ONE WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE HERO HERE. WHY HER??? SHE DESERVED SO MUCH BETTER THAN THIS. -cries-

It's definitely tragic that security breach being so unfinished just fucked up the whooole timeline, before lt felt like we were bordering on understanding and completing this, now? We are 1 year after the release still trying to understand what the basic plot of that game *is*
It's actually amazing how much can make sense by just changing one detail
2:09 that shoe could be a reference to the parts and service freddy mini game in Help Wanted or it could actually be referencing Cassie since in the teaser image her shoes are very colourful.
I've gotta say that I absolutely LOVE your justification for this take on the basis of it taking some little visual details into account, that's SO cool. Also if this is how things could've gone Lefty's UCN line of "now I will never let you go" would be some INCREDIBLE foreshadowing given what the the blob does to burntrap in the burn ending

This fits perfectly with fuhnaffs new theory too-
That Baby was originally meant to be a replica of Charlie, not Elizabeth
That... no. That doesn't even make any sense from a story perspective. XD Why would after try to rebuild Charlie into something that looks nothing like her, for Henry?

@@katfrog1 it may seem like that, but not anymore...
I keep coming back to this video because I LOVE the connections you showed and the story you constructed!

I’d like to have Lefty and the Marionette as allies or as playable characters in a game at some point.
“I like to see something before I say it’s there” good luck with that in this series

Compared to Pizzaria Simulator where she talks as if she were Elizabeth: "I will make you proud daddy!"
Therefore, you plugged the chip Circus Baby gave you in the end of Sister Location to your handheld device, which roamed free until it found itself in the Pizzaplex.
The puppet deserved better from security breach 😭😭 (edit: im hoping Ruin will give the puppet a bit more of a storyline!)
Left behind? More like LEFTY BEHIND! HA! Uh...hmmph. sorry...
I don’t think he returned, but this SpringBonnieMan is the Mimic1 instead.

I don’t think that makes sense narratively.
The point of the Mimic1 (with this theory) is that its copying Aubergine Man.
What’s the point of they’re possessing the same thing?
It might as well be it’s Aubergine Man.
So I believe it’s just Mimic1.
Maybe they'll do something like that in Help Wanted 2
The Blob probably had Funtime Freddy's head to better draw connections to Molton Freddy.
Awesome idea, I would play the hell out of that
Don't mind me, I'm just going to hold on to this and pretend it's Canon until ruin comes out and introduces five new characters answers no questions and whose secret hidden content hints to a new question, but never a real answer, because we all know that Scott has been trying to end this series since five nights at Freddy's 3, but every time he makes a new game people point at a flaw it has and so he makes an entirely new game complicating things far more than they should have been because he doesn't actually have any real answers, and just wants people to look at his empty box and applaud.
Seriously, The Blob absolutely needs a bigger part in the story sooner or later
14:00 his face even looks like the puppet
…I'm actually so mad this isn't canon now
The Nightmarionne plushie isn't a mistake.
That is such a brilliant idea, compared to the blob's random introduction with a funtime fred head
honestly i don't think it's right to point at these massively prevalent wires all around the pizzaplex that look identical to the puppet's arms and just brush it off. especially after the tales from the pizzaplex story described wires running all through the pizzaplex that control the whole building.
lefty as the head would make the blob much more terrifying and bone chilling than the current blob could ever be
I always love seeing your videos pop up on my home page! Very eloquent and lovely to listen to, as per usual!
I think it is possibly due to the wires from that tree thing from Tales PizzaPlex.
That's almost what I said in the video, you just turned it into Charlie being addicted to the magic remnant goo. XDD
@@notrealnamenotatall2476 Consoom The Goop, Charlie...
*Snoff* :V
The Fazabear Frights, Tales from the PizzaPlex books and video games are a separate universe but most are canon.
@@shinyumbreon-jb3cp From Scott's words:
Same Canon, Different Continuity.
Or "Same Universe/mechanics, different timeline".
