I really like these steings. I like how they sound when they get old. They have a particular sort of muted warmth.

My guitar (Furch Red Plus cedar/rosewood) came with .12s, but I prefer .11s. However, the latter cretes some intonation issues so I would like to go back to .12s but don;t like the tension feel. I heard these strings "feel" lighter than their gauge would suggest. Is that true?

Yes, that's true. I tried 12 and they almost feel like 10. I couldn't properly play F-barre chord on the 8 fret by using 12 but with nickel bronze I can.

Well I thought I was going to hear the Dimarzio pup that was on the guitar, but nope, he used a mic !

he is a businessman. Most guitarists and fans love that stuff. I don't but some do. I just put on the nickel bronze (D-35) and really like how raw they sound. They feel way different than what I'm used to but I'll have a fun few weeks playing them.

@@bcp5296d I am with Rocco. When I see a D-28 I want the hear G chord strummed to compare the sound. That fancy playing is great but you don't get the harmonics you need to hear. Maybe play a few different styles would be better.

Man y’all go play your cheating heart and get off his case. I thought it was cool, yes he could have strummed it duh, but it showed how bright and funky they could sound.
I will add, there should be no playing allowed in any music store on any instrument no matter what skill level. You could pay 1 dollar a minute in an isolated booth and fined for certain songs. All the money to be rewarded to musicians working 200 dates or more for medical expenses only.

Seriously… how many people actually play like this? I have no idea what these strings sound like from that demo.
