Queen Street Mill

"Queen Street Mill" is an observational documentary directed by David N Pilling. The mill in Burnley, Lancashire was built in 1894 and is now the last remaining working steam powered mill in the world; it has been used as a location in various film and TV shows including "The Kings Speech" and "Life on Mars." The film "Queen Street Mill" is an exercise in pure cinema and features original music by Matul.

Having no narration is a great move. The music conjures up got his milks and belching chimneys, it must have been an experience working in the mills though much the same with modern factories.
