I received some LiPo packs from China that were inside of a gutted battery bank housing. At first glance I thought the eBay seller had sent the wrong thing until I open the housing and found my new batteries. Crazy stuff.

Many many years ago we used Magic marker to take off Magic marker. Go over the old marker and wipe before it dries. Today's solvents do a great job but some times hurt the plastic as you know. Carl

The shipping regulations are mainly for LiOn batteries. Air shipping requires lots of extra paperwork

I got the Lipo batteries (500mA) shipped from China, the batteries haben been fully charged, however the cable ends (3mm) have not been isolated, really bad. I got 20 pcs of them in white paper boxes. I isolated all with tape before storing it in my maker accessory box.

Teensy boards are 32-bit, have a 600MHz clock, 12-bit stereo DAC, are Arduino-compatible, and less than $40.

Some countries only allow Lithium batteries to be shipped in equipment, so it's a way round that.

Yes, that is the way it in Sweden, if it is under a certain energy level and mounted inside a product it is OK to ship them using regular post or carrier
