It is indeed Heart Wrenching to learn that this priceless Pearl has been ignored and later shelved by producer G. P. Sippy and Actor Rishi Kapoor. I think some biased sentiment must have acted as the undercurrent beneath the conspiracy otherwise, this solo Masterpiece itself had the capacity to fetch KISHOREDA a FILMFARE AWARD all by itself without the support of the female counterpart.

In 1951 SD BURMAN COMPOSE " Thandi hawaye lahrake aye" from it Roshan got inspired and use the tune in " Reh na rahe hum meheka karenge" then RD BURMAN got inspired and use the tune for " sagar kinare dil ye pukare" the Rajesh roshan inspired and use it for " Ghar se nikalte hi kuch dur chalte hi".👍
Ghar se nikalte hi sounds different from these as it is based on Yaman and these are based on Pahadi

There is also one unreleased song of 'Shakti' that was recorded with Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhosale but due to Coolie accident they couldn't picturised that song and movie was released without further delay. In credit titles at the end we can see Asha Bhosale name in the list of playback singers. As we know, other 3 songs are sung by Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar and Mahendra Kapoor, this information seems to be true. .. if anyone has this song please please share the link🙏🙏
Oh really... Thanks for this information. I always wondered why Asha Bhosle's name is there in the play back singers name in one of my all-time favorite movies, Shakti.
Although I am a die-hard Bachchan fan, I always felt then, back in 1982 when the movie was released, and I am convinced even today that Dilip Saab jaisaa actor nahi. Unbelievable acting by Dilip Saab in this movie although others also acted almost equally good.
What a movie.

@@rahulvaidya9299 Shakti is mine favorite too.. great performance from all the actors and Panchamda has worked very hard as always.. all the songs are excellent, especially 'Jane kaise kab kaha.. ' and the background score as well.. the tune that was played during Dilip Kumar Amitabh conflict scenes but played differently depending on different situations.. also the instrumental of 'jane kaise kab kahan..' when Smita Patil says she is expecting.. eventually it gives major impact to the movie..
