always enjoy listening to Tom
What I like most about Tom here is the fact he's willing to say those two most dreaded phrases by all PR people "I don't know" "I can't tell you". He doesn't make stuff up or try to pretend he knows something he doesn't.
great stuff on the tech improvements, still would like to see a B770 as a B580 or B570 can't replace it. Nice to see the B580 being capable of replacing a A750, though. If I did not have an A770 already I would be buying the B580 LE. The Intel LE cards are really well made.
Always nice to see someone who’s passionate about their craft and not too corporate.
and he's wearing a HD6x0, based
Great observation
But look how he’s wearing em.
I love the energy and enthusiasm !
A lot of great information here, particually interested in the Frame Genration, it almost sounds like it could be better than DLSS FG, I look forward to HUB's evaluation and comparison of that.
Great job, somehow this was nicer for me to listen than even GNs interview.
Also Tom is amazing.
This man is Intel's best marketing asset they have, I hope they pay him like it.
Tom Peterson is smart as a whip and a fantastic representative for Intel! I will recomend Battlemage as an option to my clients when doing new builds.
Thank you for the interview ❤
Great interview Tim and Tom! It's really good to see the improvements they've made from the first gen. It shows they're here to make their mark in the GPU market and can see why Tom is so excited about this!
Intel's decision to make Tom their outreach guy for their GPUs was one of the few good decisions they've made in the past couple years.
Tom is such a great communicator; intel is sooo lucky to have him.
Great interview Tim!
Enjoyed the interview Tim. Great job. Can't cope with the loss of "our boring lives" though. Imagine having jensen haung on talking about weeding his tomato plants
Glad he kind of confirmed the further commitment and importance of graphics for Intel, really hope new leadership doesn't f'up the progress and they stick with dGPU. They have the fabs might as well use'em at some point. Got me curious, if someone at Intel reads this, tell vendors in Germany to calm down, $250 is around 236€+19%tax is 280€, they are starting ads at 320€ (14% more) 4060 start at 294€, just saying.
Tom's face told me that there will be a B770 for 4k 120hz
It is nice to see a tech go on the road to showcase what the product does. Most of the time salesmen are sent out that really don't understand their products at a lower level.
I love hom Tom Henderson while discussing vram told that the nvidia basically lied about additional vram being 100$ (obviously) and that nvidia is the most trustworthy company and the same time. Real marketing person right there.
$30 for the memory, $30 for having to attach the extra 8GB to the backside of the board, $40 upsell.
Yeah he says it’s not that expensive but that nvidia isn’t lying, all I heard was nvidia was lying.
In an interview being potentially seen by hundreds of thousands of people... You'd lie too as would anyone...
I feel that the drivers can be improved even more!
Stellar interview Tim you’re an absolute weapon and Tom is just the best around he’s an amazing communicator second to none.
Intel is my next gpu for my lower spec builds for family and friends.
This is the best possible version of Intel. Clear, direct and scrappy. I never thought I’d say it but I really hope intel keep this up.
I’d love to see a gloves off brawl bloodbath between all three vendors at the top end.
im not even planning to buy an intel gpu, yet i watched hours of Tom talking on both Gamers Nexus and this pod. He's single handedly marketing Intel at a tier that the whole company cannot do.
Tom Peterson is always great to listen to and always love his interviews. He is one of the stars at Intel.
Great informative interview. Real technical discussion. Appreciated
TAP is ever the diplomat. I love watching these discussions with him. It is so rare to have an engineer that can carry a conversation like this to distill the info for the average user. AMD really needs N evangelist like this badly; you can tell that he really loves the tech, but also loves the customers too!
Well done Tim, nailed that interview
Very refreshing to see Intel pull their head out of their ass and face reality. They are making a compelling product from a humble headspace and I think consumers will respond to that. Great to finally see them take a knee and actually compete
Awesome love tom detailed explanations
If the timing was perfect, we could have gotten Tom Peterson soeaking Spanish on hardware desempaquetar con Steve
Congrats, very nice interview!! 👌
i would like to see the old days come back more with a community interacting with each other to modify the gpu's to have more v'ram a bit like adding a pi to take on more or buffer the background processing its along time ago now but it was done , imagine buying a 8gb card and being able to upgrade it to 12gb by yourself now that would make the team green red and blue think
tom is such a good choice when it comes to intel gpu division.
